Ah thanks a million Hebe! Indie was delighted with your lovely comments, particularly the part about being cool, he fancies himself as a bit of a dude! Nice to know someone else appreciates his utter gorgeousness (I know I can be a tad biased at times!)
hellylongMemberIndie had a great first Christmas and New Year in his Forever Home. He’s still very much a puppy and loves nothing more than to play with anyone who’s willing; animal or human! Running is what he loves to do most and there’s nothing better than when we meet another dog while out on walks who loves to do the same! He can be quite the attention seeker and will talk in order to get some which, to be honest, is sometimes quite hilarious and very endearing. His training is still ongoing but he’s such a quick learner. There’s never a dull moment with Indie around and despite some behaviours that we’re modifying through training, we wouldn’t change our gorgeous little man for the world!

Indie14.JPGhellylongMemberJust a quick update to say that Indie is doing brilliantly, he’s (literally!) coming on in leaps and bounds! We started our obedience classes which we’re finding great for helping him to control himself around other dogs despite the fact that he’s dying to play with them all any chance he gets! He had his checkup in the vets and he’s at his ideal weight which we’re very proud of post-neutering! He’s still as playful and as loving as ever and gets lots of compliments on his good looks (unsurprisingly!). I’ve attached a few "Indie Collages" to show just how handsome my little man is!

IndieCollage4.JPGhellylongMemberOk this is the last guitar related photo I’ll post of Indie, I just love how he stops whatever he’s doing at the time to come sit by his Dad and listen to him play! Here he is leaning on the guitar, he had just been out for a long run so was very tired but still wanted to be near the music! Ha, so not only is he named after Dr Jones, it could also be a reference to that particular genre of music, which seems to be his favourite!

Otto, or Indie as we now like to call him (after Indiana Jones, of course! He’s just as handsome as Harrison Ford! ) is settling in to his new home, I actually can’t remember what life was like before his arrival and can’t imagine our lives without him now! I’m proud to be a failed fosterer!
We had a few teething issues but his training is going really well, he’s a bright boy and learns quickly. He loves going for walks, adores other dogs and gets very excited when guests come to visit the house. He’s a very sociable little man and we adore the bones of him!

I’m not 100% sure of the circumstances under which he was surrendered but I’m finding it difficult to imagine why anyone would give this handsome baby up. We’ve fallen head over heels in love with him and did so from the second we laid eyes on him!
He’s brilliant on the lead and we’re working on his recall training (which was non-existent when he first arrived) so we’ll hopefully be able to let him off the lead soon enough. He’s slowly but surely getting used to the car.
He loves lounging on the couch and is very good at giving cuddles. He loves a bit of company and was pretty much my shadow for the first two days! He’s a friendly, happy, gorgeous boy and we couldn’t be happier to have our new addition.
I’ll update again soon, as I’ve only had him 4 days (even though it feels like he’s been here forever!) we’re still getting to know each other!
