Arthur has been with us for the last 4 months. He has come on greatly since first coming. He goes out walking twice a day and when he is on the beach he is usually off the lead. He has great recall but most of all he enjoys chasing after a ball and once caught he brings it back to be thrown again.

We have two other dogs and he gets on great with them. On the beach we have a tendancy to walk with other friends and there can be as many as 10 dogs all walking off the lead together and he get on great with all of them.

He is a small dog and has not grown in the time he has been with us so I would say he is unlikely to grow much more. This make him ideal for a family with young children who should be able to handle him.

We have three cats and he is happy to share the the couch with them. We have a semi wild cat who rarely lets me pet her but is happy to play with Arthur.

Arthur has been with us for two months now and what a difference that time has made. At first he was shy and reluctant to go out when he first arrived. Now he is first to the door. once opened he runs out and waits for the car to be opened and jumps in. He loves the beach where he enjoys chasing after the ball. As he is off the lead and the beach has many dogs he gets to meet and greet loads of dogs and he gets on great with them. He is obedient and comes back on recall.

He is a small dog with a big heart. He loves children and will always try and curl up on the couch beside them. He would love a young family especially if they will bring him out to throw ball.

We have two other dogs and Jackson is a one year old and as Arthur is about seven months old the two young puppies love to play together. He would make a great play mate for another puppy.

Arthur sleeps with our cats and he sometimes sneaks upstairs to sleep on the bed with our 17 year old cat Ronnie.

He walks good on a lead and is easy to handle.

Arthur will make a good family dog and would be best suited as a second dog with another young dog.

Sorry for the delay in updating.

This little fella came to our house on Friday. He is a real beaut with the most unusual colouring. He is very timid and he needs a bit of training on recall but he is very good on the lead. As he is so young we have not let him off the lead. As a lot of our family have dogs he has met plenty and he has been great with them all.

He loves the kids but can be quite shy with adults but he is getting with us and loves to seat up on the seat beside us.

We have three cats and he has ignored them from day one and all three dogs and three cats sleep in the living room.

Arthur is a great little dog and he has a great temperament and he will make a pet for a family.

Jackson was neutered yesterday and he is as lively as ever and looking forward to getting back out.

He is such good nature and loves to play with all the dogs he meets on the beach. He would make a great second dog where the two dogs would play with each other during the day.

This little fella came to us on Monday and he is such a happily little puppy. He is small 6 month old pup but he is very good and loves to play with the children. He has got on great will Dylan our 6 year old lab. As a pup he is full of running so our cats have stayed clear of him but he is not chasing them he is just running around.

He is easy to walk on a lead and is good wih other dogs.

I will give further updates in the next few days, bu I can say the he is a lovely friendly dog that will make a great family pet. Fergus

Elsa is a great little girl and loves her walks. She is very good on a lead and her recall is excellent. She does not mind other dogs when out walking and when we are down the beach she meets a lot of dogs and is always well behaved. We let her walk with us off the lead and some times she will chase after a ball with Dylan our other dog.

She would suit a family or a person who does not have other pets as she can get jealous of attention given to other pets. She will follow you everywhere and always wants company of her owner. She is good in the car also.

This little girl came to our house on Tuesday and she is a little beauty. she is very small and i would say that she is a shelte X she ia small for a collie. She is very affectionate and follows Pauline around the house all day. She is excellent on the lead and her recall is perfect.

The kids love her and she reacted well with Dylan. We have three cats and with the exception when they run she is happy for them to be in the same room and she sleeps with them.

She likes to be around people and does not like to be left on her own.

This little girl will make an excellent family pet. She is would suit either a family or someone who will be around the house all day and Elsa will not be far behind. I will update with photos later.

This little dog has been with us for a little over a week and he has come on so much. For the first week we could not get him to leave the house. We would put his lead on and when we opened the front door he would run to the back door and we would have to drag him out for the walk. By the weekend once we have his lead on and open the front door he is ready to jump into the boot of the car to go to the beach for a walk.

He is still weary while going for walks on the road, especially at night.

He loves the beach especially when he can be let off the lead for a run but as his recall is not very good we can only do this when we the beach is clear but when there is not anyone else around he is good and stays close at hand and is improving each time.

He is great with other dogs he meets but he must be on a lead as he would follow them.

He is good around the house and he gets on great with 2 out of our 3 cats. The kids love him and all their friends are all greeted with a wagging tail but as all pups he still likes to jump up.

He will still need a lot of work but even in the short time he has been with us we have seen such an improvement that we know that it will just take a few weeks to make this little fella the perfect pet. He has the right temperament and he loves to be around people.

Murph is such a beautiful dog, so friendly and so good. The kids love him but he is very shy and timid. He has the most wonderful colouring and is great with other dogs.

He arrived last night and we can see a huge improvement in the last 24 hours. When he meets someone new he will lie down until they call him and then he is all waggy tail and likes to get a rub.

He is a young dog so there is a lot of work to be done with him on the lead but that is to be expected of any dog of his age. He is very shy when out and will lie down when passing people unless they give him a call. As regular beach walkers we know a lot of the people who walk their dogs and they will usually come over once they seen that we have a new foster dog. He was well behaved with all the dogs he met and loved the attention.

He does not like the sound of cars and can be quite scared and can be difficult to get out of the house and car but once out he is fine. As we are only on day one I would expect that this is just because he is not used to it.

We have 3 cats and he has been good with them, he has not tried to chase them and he would appear to be used to living with cats.

I would expect that this is a dog which with a little love and attention will continue to develop to be a great family dog. He will need a little bit of socialising and training at the beginning but the effort I am sure will be repaid ten fold by this loving dog.

Shep has been with us now for a few months and she is a pleasure to have around the house. The kids love to come in in the evening and curl up on the couch with her on their lap and our 13 year old regularly takes both Shep and our lab for a walk on his own. She is well behaved on a lead and is good when passing other dogs.

She would make a great pet for anyone but she is also a great watch dog as she barks at everyone coming in and out but it is just in a friendly way so people who know she just walk in and pet her.

She will get very excited if there is a lot of noise in the house so would be best suited for quieter houses.

As you will see from pictures she is used to having cats around and not only ours but also in houses that we regularly visit.

She loves walks in open spaces where she can run off the lead and is well behaved.

Shep is a great dog and a pleasure to walk. She is well behaved on the lead and Our young son often takes her out for a walk.

On the beach she mixes well wih other dogs and loves to play ball. She can be a bit shy when she meets people for the first time and can be nervous when strangers try to pet her.

We had a full house for the long weekend with an extra two dogs and a cat of Pauline’s sister but as you will see from the attached picture she was happy to share her bed with the guests, which was lucky as there were 4 dogs and 4 cats in the same room each night.

I must say that the welcome she gives you when I come home each evening can’t help but bring a smile to my face.

She will make a lovely family pet for some lucky family
