Hi there,
we have Misty [hoover] who is Jess’s sister. We have the same problem! When Misty sees another dog approaching she crouches down and is very wary when dogs sniff her. Im nervous with her on the lead as well and are very cautious when letting her off the lead. Maybe its in the breed. Am hoping maybe to bring Misty to an obedience or socializing class as I don’t think she socializes enough with other dogs. Im not sure if she’s nervous or what! She loves people thoughWould love to hear from any of her other siblings and see how they’re getting on and if they have the same problem and tips to help us.

Do dogs in distress use their own vet for the neutering, I have to ring the girl about Misty. We are going to the dogs in distress fun day in September, we are hoping Tilly and some of her pups will be there too, It will be great to see them together.July 31, 2010 at 4:36 pm in reply to: hailey 7 weeks old springer x(hopes puppy)happy endings #99498FarrellFamily4MemberHi from Misty’s owner [another one of Hopes pups]
Just wondering about the puppy day care. Where are they and what do they do? Misty is due for neutering soon has Hailey gone to vet yet. Was wondering how dogs would be after this procedure. Many thanks, Lorraine farrell.
P.s we live in Leixlip.FarrellFamily4MemberSo sorry to hear about that, I have Misty [Hoover] one of the 2 black and white pups belonging to Hope [Tilly] My daughter cried when she read the post, its very hard to say anything but our thoughts are with you and your new husband and I really hope you will find another pup to replace Millie. RIP. x
FarrellFamily4MemberHi there from the Farrell Family,
We have one of Tilly’s pups, Misty.
We cannot believe how alike they are! They even seem to be similiar in nature. We have a long way to go still with Misty training, as she is only 5 months old, but loves sitting in the sun, digging and attention too. She can jump like a rabbit! Hope Tilly gets a nice home soon, as she looks a lovely dog.
078.JPGFarrellFamily4MemberJust an update to let you know how Misty [aka Hoover] is getting on.
She is around 5 months old now, and has grown a good bit. She is a devil for digging holes in the garden and knowcking over plants and ornaments! When we say ‘Who did that?’ She gives us the sad eyes and puts her head between her paws. Getting better on the lead, but still tugs and chews a bit. She knows commands of Sit, Stay, and Give the Paw. She likes her quiet time too in the garden, where she sits on her blankie or the table in the sun. The house wouldnt be the same without her, and the kids love her! Hello to Gwen and all her helpers, they do a great job!

FarrellFamily4MemberWe adopted Misty 3 weeks ago.
She’s a very loving and very playful pup.
She got her 2nd vacinations last week, and was great at the vets!
She loves to play with a ball, will take anything lying around, and loves playing chasing!
She’s still biting a bit, trying to stop this any tips form Hopes pups adoptees?
We hope to bring her to puppy obedience classes next week.
She’s very good at night time, only cries for 2 mins!
She loves going out for small walks so far, which we started this week.Would love to hear how her other sisters are getting on!
FarrellFamily4MemberWe collected Hoover (Misty now!) On saturday. What a lovely pup she is, she slept all the way home! Very quiet on her first day and only cried a bit that night. Loves to be held and cuddled, just like her fosterers said! Is great fun to play with in the garden, loves having a chase and run round. So happy days ahead!
We hope all her sisters are doing well and it would be nice to hear how they’re are settling into their new homes.
