Mia has recovered so well after op, and she is now coneless and a very happy camper. She is full of beans and back to running like the wind! All the stitches are out and the scar is beginning to fade. My little girl is as tough as old boots! She is becoming more and more confident by the day. She definitely is a Diva but I couldn’t love her more!

My beautiful little girl had her hernia and spaying op on Monday. She’s doing great! She is hating the cone of shame though…poor thing keeps forgetting she has it on so she’s bumping into everything. Not to mention bruising my legs haha! But the cone is very cute on her it nearly looks like a bonnet!! Apart from the cone you wouldn’t think she had surgery on Monday. She’s bounding round the house like she usually does and as always full of beans. Her tail is on the go non stop so I’m taking that as a good indication that she’s happy. She was very out of it when we took her home on Monday but with lots of cuddles and TLC (and lots of chicken!) she was back to her old self. Check up went well today and she’ll be getting the stitches out next week. Vet was very happy with how she was healing, although when she went in to the vet she immediately started whimpering and crying and hid behind my partner Ray! Must be all the bad memories from Monday!! All in all, we’re still a happy little family and Mia is as content as ever. :)

Well we have our beautiful girl over a week now and I have to say I just adore her. It feels like she has always been with us, and she has settled in to her forever home just magically. I get such a greeting from her when I come in from work and even get a wonderful greeting first thing in the morning. She has to be the happiest dog ever. And you can’t help but be in a good mood when you’re around her. She still has the odd accident, mainly when she gets too excited (when she see’s her lead and harness especially) but we’re trying not to gear her up when we are going for walkies. She stays with my Mam when myself and my partner are in work and she has definitely won my Mam’s heart. She is just the most gorgeous dog inside and out and I’ll be forever grateful to DID for bringing Mia and I together. She’s getting her first grooming tomorrow so we’ll update photo’s to show off her new haircut later on in the week. All in all we couldn’t be happier and Mia is loved so very much.

This little girl is one of a kind. She arrived yesterday and settled in straight away. We gave her a bath (which she wasn’t too happy about) but she hasn’t left our side since she came home with us. She loves her cuddles and attention and gets on like a house on fire with my Mam’s dog Ollie. I am absolutely head over heels with her she is such a joy to have around and I don’t think I’ve ever come across such a happy dog. Her tail is always on the go. We went for our first big walk in the park today and she was as good as gold. Not a bother with any other dogs. She was introduced to my partners niece and nephew yesterday and of course they adored her and she once again lapped up the attention. Even as I write this she is snoring her little head off snuggled up next to us. We were well and truly blessed with this little one! :)

Glad to hear she is great with kids and other dogs. I don’t have a cat so I wouldn’t mind so much. She is absolutely beautiful, I’m head over heels with her. Would love more photos if you have them? Is she good for walking without a lead?
