We’re so happy for you and Mindy! We all miss her here.
DrMrsTheMonarchMemberAutumn stroll through the forest. Sorry about the blurry photos; they’re too fast to catch! Mindy, of course, is always in front.

Mindy Balcony.jpgDrMrsTheMonarchMemberI’m not sure Zero appreciates being woken up by a brief swat to the face, but he enjoys having a playmate.
DrMrsTheMonarchMemberMindy finally figured out she can go inside the cave bed, and not just on top!
MindyCave.jpgDrMrsTheMonarchMemberToday, Mindy mastered sitting and waiting for her meal. It was difficult for her, but her confidence grew and after breakfast she pranced around, very pleased with herself. She is learning to be calmer and to respect boundaries around the house, whilst retaining her typical terrier cheekiness!
DrMrsTheMonarchMemberHere’s Mindy, snoring on my lap after an exciting hour at the dog park.
Mindy Snoring.jpgDrMrsTheMonarchMemberMindy is doing well, and is on her way to mastering basic commands and house-training. It is often difficult for her to sit still for very long without a good chew toy, but she is eager to please and wants to learn new words. She now knows "sit" and "wait" and "this way."
She also has a habit of stealing our things! Her favorite is shoes, which she gently drags over to her bed to cuddle up with. She does relinquish them on command though!

Mindy2.jpgDrMrsTheMonarchMemberThis clever girl is enthusiastic about EVERYTHING: us, other people, dogs, and her own reflection! She is extremely playful and almost aggressively affectionate. She hops right into our laps for a cuddle before quickly getting back to play. She is surprisingly responsive to our voices, and will come to us immediately when we call her.
She also got several compliments at the park today! She looks like a miniature fox (though still has a bit of growing to do), and has lovely eyeliner-like markings around and out from her eyes. Will post again once we’ve gotten to know her a bit more.

DrMrsTheMonarchMemberJust adding a couple more pics.

Sid with Toy.jpgDrMrsTheMonarchMemberSid has a FABULOUS nature. He’s a friend to every dog and person he meets, and is only impatient when he feels he’s not gotten enough love. He’ll quietly chew on some toys or nap the day away when he’s not showering you with affection. He is great on the lead and very calm at the dog park. His recall is very good, though occasionally he’ll smile cheekily at you and then demand to play just a little bit longer.
The poor little man has an infection at the moment, in addition to his neutering stitches, and yet has not whined once. He is lovely at the vet and has no problem taking medication.
Due to my own dog’s impatience with other male dogs, Sid has had to go to a different foster parent, and we were all very sad to see him go. He has such a lovely spirit, always cheerful from the moment he wakes up. He’ll make a wonderful pet.
DrMrsTheMonarchMemberThis adorable little man appears to adjust very well to new situations, and is always cheerful. Sid had a hard day yesterday, getting neutered and then having to live with a whole new family; yet he happily trots around the house with his tail wagging. He will gently remind you that he needs a cuddle with a tap of his paw.
He gets on well with my jack russell; even though Zero can be an annoying puppy sometimes, Sid has always been very patient with him.
He has a very healthy appetite (the two of them beg for our food together), but he is also a good listener and will go lie in his bed if you tell him to. He seems to know most basic commands and is very eager to please.
