Oh Grainne my heart goes out to you. I sobbed reading your post, it is so hard to lose a dog but when it’s so sudden and unexpected it is very painful. Please take comfort knowing what a great life George had with you… he gave and he received love.
It could be a while before you receive the results of the postmortem but it may help to bring ‘closure’ for you, I know it really helped me to come to terms with Oscar’s sudden death.
You’ll be in my thoughts, best wishes.

You are adorable and sound like the perfect lady. 9 years is really only middle age … we have an 8 year old terrier who behaves like the Durracell Bunny!! I’m sure your foster family are treating you like a princess, but I have fingers and toes crossed that your happy ever after comes along very soon.
