Congratulations Scully! Great to see the dogs getting settled into new homes before Christmas I had the pleasure of Scully as a house guest 2 weeks ago and he is a charmer. Have a happy life Scully and forever family – beautiful photo.

Yay!! Polo gets to hang up his Christmas stocking in his forever home This is fantastic news – I am so happy for you Polo and for your forever family. Yes, please, please keep us updated on your progress (and let us know if Santa found you). Big thank you to DID for helping Polo and especially to Audrey for giving Polo a permanent foster family. Goldie (as a rescue herself) is over the moon for you Polo and Tio is so thrilled too as it means you won’t be back in his space Happy life Polo.xx

Happy Days!! Millie gets a home and "our" darling Alfie gets a buddy – double whammy! So pleased for all of you and it’s a super reflection on rescue dogs, that not alone have you rescued Alfie but you also are happy to home a rescue dog again. I wish you all the happiness and fun in the World!

Polo it’s great to see you on the mend and as laid back as ever. You are having a lovely with time with Audrey and your new doggy friends. Brave boy – your little op all over! Probably nothing compared to what you have been through in your life. You are a beautiful dog – inside and out. Goldie sends a few licks and even Tio sends just one!!

Hi Indianna – Justine took Polo back to the vet on Wed night. His eye has to be bathed with a little salt water solution. He has another course of antibiotics to take and he had a lump on his back drained, but thankfully it was not infected. He’s been a real sleepy head since – very little energy, but he does like his little strolls.
He is so docile that Tio (yes my paranoid yorkie) jumped up on the same couch that Polo was on and slept at the other end. A friend has just walked Polo today and he’s now comatose in his basket! He yearns for human affection – just pines without it.
I had a horrible experience this morning – Polo sticks to me (or any other human in sight) like glue, but I went to sweep the kitchen floor and Polo ran away from me. I’ve never experienced that fear in a dog before and it saddened me. I have to keep telling him he will never be hurt again now that DID have him.
I would like to thank Audrey who is taking over fostering from tomorrow.

Justine is taking him to the vet this evening so we’ll see how his wounds and his eye are doing. He whines softly all the time so I’m not sure if he’s sad or just a bit in pain.
He really is no bother – just wants human company. Sadly my Tio is banished upstairs to allow Polo a snooze on the couch!

Polo is an absolute dote He is the most placid dog that has ever come into the house. He loves his food but shows no interest in any kind of treat or chew. He is sleeping a lot which is good to help his recovery. He adores human interaction and I think at the moment he’d be happy to sleep most of the day with a human nearby.
I have to give Jonathan from Ollie’s Petcare a big thank you for helping out with Polo and walking him for me.
When Polo’s injuries heal he will be one handsome dog – his face shape is fantastic, and those paws….
I really wish a more permanent foster home would come forward as this boy just wants to be with a human and I have to split my time between him and Tio (my yorkie) as Tio doesn’t get on with other dogs. I hate leaving Polo in the kitchen on his own at times………
He sleeps great at night ( a little bark and cry and then he snoozes until I wake him up in the morning). A little trooper.

Polo is having an emergency stay over with me. He couldn’t stay with Justine as he didn’t get on with her cat. Unfortunately I can only keep Polo for a day or two as Tio, my yorkie, is very aggressive with other dogs.
Polo arrived this afternoon and he’s a very friendly fella and his tail NEVER stops wagging We don’t know how he got into such a terrible state, but he was loved once as he knows how to play ball as he brings the ball back and drops it at your feet
He wasn’t crazy on dried food and Justine was soaking it, so I did the same and added chicken fillet and he’s had 2 bowls since he arrived. He’s sleeping it off now in the kitchen. He is very dog friendly – Goldie has been pottering around the kitchen and garden with him and Polo’s not bothered (even when Goldie steals his treats).
He’s on 3 meds, eye cream, a tablet and a medicine. I’ve given him the 3 without a bother. He’s very affectionate and only need short walks as he has to be in a little pain. I hope someone comes forward to foster him as he’s a dote – if it wasn’t for Tio he wouldn’t be going anywhere else.

Oh Daisy you’re not scary – you’re a cutie pumpkin pie! Murph is taking his Superman role very seriously – keeping an eye on the safety of the neighborhood. Wow I had forgotten it’s a year since ‘Gotcha Day’ – you were worried Daisy would be nervous with a new home and Halloween all in one day! Thanks for the update Fiona Kisses to Daisy. Hi to the rest of the family.

Ah getting spoiled today – an update on ‘little’ Alfie! Wow you’ve turned into a beautiful ‘bigger’ dog. You look so chilled and well looked after. You were a special boy and Caroline did wonders with you to get you ready for your forever home. Your family obviously adore you (I take it they’re sitting on the floor?) giving you the best seat in the house. Keep the updates coming…..but I think we know Alfie is gonna be OK.
PS It was lovely to see Lucky (Alfie’s brother) fostering for DID and also looking happy.

AAAhhh update – yippee I get so excited when I see updates of my foster babes Cody….what a cutie, but you always were Hard to believe you will soon be 1 year old. You look like a small little dog? (maybe the angle)? Ah lovely photo – thanks and I hope Jackie and family and Penny are all well.
