I met this beautiful girl last night, she is such an affectionate friendly girl, I got the warmest of welcomes and lots of kisses. She is so graceful when she walks it’s like she is floating. And when she sleeps she has a beautiful little smile on her face.
She would need a home where there are other dogs or someone at home all day because she just craves company and wants to play with every dog she meets.
I have to admit I am very smitten with her, but I almost got evicted by my hubby last night when I even mentioned having another dog in the house.
Whomever adopts this beautiful lady will be on to a winner.

3 years ago today I was saved from an uncertain future by DID. I was taken to a lovely foster home where I was well cared for, but within a week I met my new daddies. I call them my daddies but they are really my best friends and we all do everything together..I am even thankful that princess Siog came into our lives, she certainly makes things interesting.
Thank you DID for saving me and giving me the best home that any dog could dream of.

Well, what a wonderful Happy ending.
It is great to see that Paddy has accepted his new brother so easily and that he is showing him the ropes, I am sure that they will spend many evenings watching wildlife shows together.

Well done Yvonne, she looks an absolute dote. Now that I look at the photos closer she does have lovely silky hair.
It won’t be long before she is running around the place.

Rest in Peace Schubie and run free at rainbow bridge.

I know it is a tough time for skymoon and family, but rest assured that you gave this gentle giant and very happy ending to his life. Well done to you.

It has been one year since princess Siog came into our lives, I wouldn’t say that it has been the easiest of transitions. She arrived to us a very confused nervous little girl. Afraid of everything, lampposts, wheelie bins, litter. Her tail was constantly between her legs and would frequently wet herself with nerves.
A trip in the car would cause extreme anxiety with lots of drooling and vomiting.
She had no idea of how to play and she couldn’t run for more that 5 minutes.

But with a lot of patience and love we got through the car sickness by just doing short trips with happy endings, I.e the local park etc.
Lampposts and bins are no longer an issue and she can now run for miles, she has even recently begun to play fetch.

    Thank you DID

It has been such a pleasure to see this frightened little girl become a fabulous princess. She is such and happy girl now and We are really really proud of her. Even Harry loves her and is very protective of her.

I am so sad to see that Gem/Tully has passed away, such a beautiful dog deserved to be happier for longer. I would really like to thank the wonderful family that gave him such a wonderful happy time when he needed it most. RIP.

    Greetings one and all,

I hope that you are all well, it is time for one to give ones update.
My daddy has told me that I have made fantastic progress over the last few months and is constantly telling me how proud that he is of me.
I have finally decided that fetch is not just a game for the boys and I have learned to chase the ball and bring it back, who would have thought that something so simple could be so much fun. I am now much faster than Harry which is a bit of disappointment to him. But to show no hard feeling I sometimes drop the ball back to him to bring back to daddy.

I have also discovered that I really love mud baths, if I see a pool of mud I simply must jump in. This is normally followed by a swim in the river which is very refreshing, plus it is really improving my doggie paddle.

Daddy had a friends arrive from the US for a few days, I was so brave and didn’t run up the stairs when he arrived, (I don’t really do that with any stranger now, nobody will hurt me). We all went to some lovely places, I especially enjoyed glendalough.

That is all for now. Here is a rather splendid photo of me with my American friend.

    Ta Ta for now

    Princess Siog.

Almost 2 years ago to the day, the most wonderful dog ever came into my life. From the moment I saw his little photo on the website I knew he was "The one". My boy Harry helped me through a very tough time in my life and has been with me through thick and thin, there is not a day that goes by that both himself and his sister don’t make me "belly" laugh.

I just want to say thanks DID! And Happy homecoming anniversary Harry!! :D :D :D

Oh my Miss Indianna, you are quite the cad.

No, one cannot let the staff have time off, how else would one get ones every need catered for. No, in that photo I was merely dropping down to see how things were progressing for this evening supper. I think that it boosts morale when one pays the help some attention.
