March 28, 2015 at 8:16 pm #124236AmandaMemberWhat can I say about this gorgeous girl so far?
Cara arrived last night and has been as good as gold so far.
She is very much so on the skinny side, so I am busy fattening her up.
She is excellent with other dogs and lights up when she sees one that she can say hello to. She is also the most gentle little lady. She loves company and has got a little upset and cried when she was by herself.
We have had zero accidents in the house so far, she’s a very smart girl learning fast.

So far, we have mastered walking on a lead and are starting to put on some much needed weight. Cara is fully house trained and would thrive in a home with another dog as she is super social and friendly.

She is so graceful when she walks it’s like she is floating. And when she sleeps she has a beautiful little smile on her face.
She would need a home where there are other dogs or someone at home all day because she just craves company and wants to play with every dog she meets.
I have to admit I am very smitten with her, but I almost got evicted by my hubby last night when I even mentioned having another dog in the house.
Whomever adopts this beautiful lady will be on to a winner.March 31, 2015 at 7:57 am #124261AmandaMemberCara is the most affectionate, friendly, and generally chilled out lady you could meet. She is not used to being by herself, I would suspect she had previously been kept with other dogs. Audrey has kindly volunteered to mind Cara for a couple of nights until the long weekend, as I work all day and poor Cara is distraught when left by herself. Cara needs a permanent home with other dogs or a person who would be home most of the day – and they would be lucky to have her! She is a special, sweet, social little girl who deserves the best.

April 21, 2015 at 7:57 am #75975ColganFamilyMemberWell done, foster family!! As a many times "failed (but I think succeeded!!!) fosterer", I am not one bit surprised you could not let this beauty go. A long and happy life to you, Cara!! And all the best to your fantastic new family. Happy Ever After.
