MemberOur "all go" little lady is really settling into the routine here. She loves her walks and playing with the gang. She is getting bigger by the day and learning all the tricks of the trade.
She knows to sit for treats and asks for cuddles and attention by pawing any available person or doggie!!
She is an absolute sweetheart and I am amazed she hasn’t been snapped up yet.

MemberThis little lady continues to go from strength to strength. Just a few recent observations . . . . . . For such a cocky little girleen here in the house, she is very nervous of meeting new people and also other dogs! People spook her more than dogs though. Usually my problem walking the puppies is that they tend to jump all over new people (who may not be as into dogs as the rest of us!!!
) but Scarlett positively hides when she sees anyone new coming along, tail down! Once when she couldn’t reach me because the "newbie" was between her and me, she HOWLED!!! So maybe she is not as cocky as she pretends to be!
The other notable thing is that she LOVES a ball. My mental picture of Springers is them tearing after a ball and this is EXACTLY what she does. She is really developing into a beautiful, playful, affectionate and adorable dog!

MemberOver the weekend, Scarlett joined the mob for the BIG WALK in Tymon Park that we do every morning and, I reckon for the first time ever, she has had the experience of being totally worn out!!!
She TEARS around the park with the gang and absolutely loves it. She sticks very closely to us (and the three that stay with us) allowing Sam and Mollie to go off and explore and has come back to us immediately every time we have called her – great for such a young little lady.
She is truly one of the pack here and really needs a home with at least one other dog. A great girl!!!

MemberI know it has been AGES since I updated on this little beauty but better late than never! So much has happened since I introduced her to you all that I hardly know where to begin.
Scarlett has grown so much – in size, in stature, in confidence and, most definitely, in cheekiness!
She had a small holiday with Audrey and came back – just about – toilet trained (thanks Aud!) She is in the thick of everything here and my own dogs just ADORE her – they all want to play with her (well maybe Thor not so much but she has stolen his thunder a little!). She eats really well, cuddles up with Mollie every night, enjoys the car and she has energy TO BURN! She is fully vaxed now and can be walked but none of us have found a duration of walking that actually tires her out.
She is ALL GO!!!! That said, she is extremely loving (we all get great cuddles from her – when she feels like it!) and highly intelligent. She is an absolute gem – just waiting for her own – very energetic – forever family to come along!!!! WE LOVE HER!!!

MemberJust a little update on our new little princess. Talk about growing in confidence!
This little lady is now – in her mind anyway – cock of the walk. She torments the gang here till she gets a game going, then she TEARS around with one (or more) of them in hot pursuit!
She is eating really well, sleeps all night, hates being left on her own and will chew anything that she finds. She loves to curl up at your feet for a little nap on the rare occasion that she gets tired. She has become really cheeky and will tell us off if we DARE to criticise anything she is doing – a stern "NO" from us is greeted with a "WHO’S GONNA STOP ME?" vocal retort from Scarlett.
That said, she is the cutest, sweetest, most intelligent puppy I have met in a long time. A little training and LOTS of exercise and this lady will be a real friend for life! Could she be yours??

MemberThis special little guy -UNDOUBTEDLY!!! – had his life prolonged thanks to the wonderful care he received while he was with you.
I have reread his posts there – having followed his journey ALL THE WAY since 2009 – and he could not have ended his days in a better place. I know you are devastated now but you gave poor little Sooty everything possible – your love, time, care, attention. Well, well done and thank you all SO MUCH!!!
Sleep well little angel.

MemberOh Claire, I am so so sorry for your loss – and also for his devastated "happy ending" family.
That is the saddest thing I have heard in a long time. He really was a special guy – I loved meeting him at the open days and the promotions. Sleep well little fella – you were very much loved!!
