Tanya fair play for fostering Mia. She is a beauty! This is the exciting time waiting for the puppies to arrive. I’ve just finished fostering Tessa and her 3 puppies, so I know what it’s like. Best wishes for a safe delivery. Yvonne
yoddyMemberSonia what Fab photos! (Thanks for text photo xx). They look like great little buddies. Tuc looks so happy and content. That’s made my day.
yoddyMemberThanks so much Susan for the lovely comments, but it’s no more than we all do ( yourself included) for the DID doggies. Have to admit had a duvet day yesterday – not been possible for past 4 months! Just want to say thanks to Kathy for all her support, to Marie for her advice and goodies for Tessa and pups and to Claire for getting loving homes for my 4 babies. And finally to all those who followed the little family on this site, thanks for your comments and interest over the months.
yoddyMemberI got a beautiful surprise Easter week – a card and photos from Twinkle’s mam, Doris. I’ve scanned the photos below. Well the news….she is now named Chibi (which means ‘little one’ in Japanese). She is a live wire and loves her fur sister Kerri (and stealing her chews) but Kerri (who’s 13 years) is very calm with her. Her Dad loves her and has built her a play pen and a little outdoor house so she can pop in one door and out the other. She’s running up the stairs and basically getting up to all the usual puppy mischief. She is a complete joy, her Mam and Dad adore her and she’s now part of their doggie family.
Thanks so much Doris for the update – I know others will be delighted to see our little girl so happy. xxxxx

Twinkle001.jpgyoddyMemberAnd then there were none My last baby went to his forever home today. I had a fabulous week with Tubs all to myself but today I dropped him to his forever home. I wasn’t really sad because I worried about Tubs as he is quite nervous, but his home couldn’t be more perfect for him! He has his forever Mam and his fur sister Chrissy. He had met his mam already so wasn’t nervous meeting her again. And Tubs went doolally (mad) when he met Chrissy!! He adored her, but his crazy excited dancing scared Chrissy a bit but I have no doubt they’ll be great buddies before long. His Mam had even crocheted a little coat (just from looking at his photo) for Tubs (now Toby) to keep him warm in the garden. He might have to eat and grow a teeny bit more to keep it on…..he did a little strip in the kitchen when he walked out of his coat….and Chrissy got interested!! In the last photo, the new family are all cosy and Toby is happy and relaxed, my job is done. Bye bye my darling…..I know we’ll keep in touch. Happy Life. xxxxxxx

IMG_2662.JPGyoddyMemberI’ve so much news! First we got a bath!! That was something! Mam kept smelling us all evening, cause she said we smelt yummy. Then yesterday we went to the pet shop and got our new collars – we hate them. But everyone in the shop loved us. I got sick on mam on the way home Then I went for a visit yesterday to meet my new family and I’m reserved!! They have a mini JRT called CJ and she’s gonna be my sister. I’ll have a human mum, dad and brother too. I gave them all licky kisses on their faces, even though I’d been sick CJ was lovely and gentle and I hope we’ll play loads together. I’ll miss Tubby but he’ll be ok. I’m going to my new home on Monday…I’ll let mam keep smelling me until then. Thanks for the birthday wishes – Mam forgot it was our birthday until she read your post Indianna. Today we got some jam on our toast and it was yummy…hope I get toast and butter and jam for breakfast in my new home….Sonia are you listening??
IMG_2646.JPGyoddyMemberThe 2 boys are still with me and that’s just how I like it I will be broken-hearted when they leave. If I could keep this pair I would – they are so tiny that they are no trouble at all. They don’t puppy chew anything, they entertain themselves playing away together, they make me smile just looking at them. They are such jolly little boys. They don’t have a huge amount of energy so have long ‘naps’ throughout the day. They love climbing onto my shoulders and curling up and sleeping ( I love it too). They love their food. Their toilet training isn’t progressing too well as I have to split my time with Tio, so I keep missing key moments. They got their 2nd vaccinations last Friday, so can go walkies Easter weekend. Here’s a little video taken yesterday of their afternoon play.

IMG_2653.JPGyoddyMemberHi Orflaith. The boys are in foster with me. If you are interested in adopting, fill in the online adoption form and Kathy or Claire will be in touch. Thanks. Yvonne
yoddyMemberHi ya everybody Mam said people’s were asking where we were (yes u Indianna) so here I am at 10 weeks old. Getting my 2nd vaccination tomorrow and then Mam says we can try walkies soon. Can’t wait – not sure what it is though Do you see how tiny I am (I am the smallest) and I think I’m the cutest (well I do!). I’m a very happy chappy and love meeting people. I like being lifted and cuddled. When I’m sleepy I climb up on mam and puts me bum under her chin and sleeps with me head on her shoulder and its lovely and cosy there. Bet loads of peeps will be applying to adopt me now I love being in the garden and chasing Tubs in between all the pots. I try to tidy the garden too by picking up twigs and leaves and pebbles and bringing them into the kitchen. I love Goldie but we have to stay well away from Tio cause mam says he’ll eat us Goldie growlies at us all the time but we still follow her and she minds us in the garden. She’s not been well so we can’t annoy her too much. I’ve got to run now before Tubs gets the warm spot on teddy bottle…….see ya!

Image.jpgyoddyMemberHappy Birthday to me, 10 weeks today! Hi everyone and Indianna I’ve been having such fun in the garden in the sun that I haven’t been on the computer. See me frightening Mam with my teethies? Hee hee Today is a big day Mam says, so she took away our baby crate and gave us a grown up doggy bed, cause we’re big boys now (she calls us the cheeky boys). We still have teddy bottle so that’s cool. Luvs teddy bottle more than anything. That’s us in our new bed and Tuc is kissing me – he kisses me a lot now that Twinkle is gone. Do you see me and Tuc begging for toast? We share Mam’s toast every morning – we used to just suck it but now we can eat it yum yum. I met a few people this week and I don’t really like new people lifting me. I think I’m not liking being lifted unless I come over for a cuddle when I’m sleepy. I make moany noises when I’m tired (mam says I’m like a cat purring ) and I like to sleep cuddled up on mam’s knee. I don’t have as much energy as Tuc and I’m going to go try out my new bed now. Nighty night.

IMG_2625.JPGyoddyMemberTubs has gone quite shy lately. The vet suggested he might be showing Chihuahua traits of being very loyal and attached to one person. He is doing much better now that he has Tuc all to himself. He was being left out of playtime before, but now the 2 of them play and chase in the garden which is lovely to see. If you watch the video under Tuc’s profile, you will see how quiet Tubs is, just staying in the background and not getting involved. He is easily scared, but he is such a teeny little fella. People who have met the pups say they are much smaller in real life than in the photos.
Here’s a little video of them playing beside me at the minute:

PS Tubs asked me to put out a request – his ear has started to curl so he asking for a GHD straightener if anyone has one to spare.
