MemberWell, Diva’s toy of choice in recent days has become the – fairly battered and well chewed at this stage – trampoline!
All the dogs here love it and since the weather has picked up a bit, it has now become a play area once again.
Unfortunately Diva, just like Casper, can’t manage to get up on it by herself so I am growing Schwarzenegger type muscles lifting the pair of them on and off!!!!
Diva continues to be a real pleasure to foster, very affectionate and eager to learn. I would love her to find her forever home soon though because she really deserves some people of her own! There is a lot of sharing needed here where the dogs outnumber the humans and I would love to have the time to devote to her alone. That said, there will be plenty of tears when she does leave – a real princess!!!

MemberOh wow!!! She looks so much better already.
Well done, Raj and Inga – you are obviously giving her the care and love she so badly needs – and so richly deserves!
Delighted for you, Angel.

MemberOh he is stunningly beautiful!
What is it with me and collies??? And I have SIX dogs here at the minute and not a collie in sight!!!
Have a great life, Eric.

MemberIn the pic above, you can see Sam and Tigra in the background . . . .and Diva is by no means dwarfed by either of them
Here she is indulging in one of her favourite pastimes . . .CAM_0866.JPG

MemberWell for a "diva", this lady is awfully difficult to photograph!
She is rarely still and constantly on the go. She is curious about everything too – every noise, every shadow, every bit of fluff on the floor has to be investigated thoroughly!!! Usually with fiercely wagging tail and lolling tongue!!!
Diva is a really wonderful lady who has come on in leaps and bounds, especially in confidence. She adores the ball and all toys – tug toys are a real winner with her and she will invite anyone – person or dog – into a game of tug with her. Plenty of willing participants here, I must say. She needs some lead training as she is strong and WILDLY enthusiastic about her walk but off lead she is amazing.
An altogether great girl!

MemberOh wow! He looks GREAT!
I only spent a few hours with this big man when he first came under the care of DID but that was all it took to convince me that he is one special guy.
Samoyeds have the loveliest, smiliest faces in the world and I am THRILLED that Teddy has landed on his four paws. Happy, happy ending, Teddy!

MemberWell our beautiful lady was microchipped and got her first vax yesterday – and there wasn’t a PEEP out of her!
Not a whimper, not a flinch, nothing! She continues to be a real sweetheart, totally housetrained, amazing in the car, SO eager to learn, loves her treats, sits on command, comes IMMEDIATELY when called and adores people – young and older – and other dogs. A REAL TREASURE! Whoever is lucky enough to home her will be getting a real good’un!!!

MemberDiva continues to thrive here and she has rapidly become part of the family – probably because the family is as mad as she is!!
Only joking! She is a really playful, affectionate and active little girl with excellent recall and she is SO QUICK to learn. She will be an ideal candidate for training for whoever is lucky enough to home her – the sight of a treat and she is putty in your hands.
She gets on great with all the dogs here and she just LOVES everybody. I can’t say enough good things about her but she will need a home prepared to give her the time, space and stimulation she needs to reach her full potential. I know her perfect forever family are out there.

MemberIts great to see TWO of the dogs we fostered together.
Denzel was a very special guy – only the size of my hand when we got him and, although we only had Willow for a short time, we marked her out as very special too!
Delighted that they are having such a good time together and Willow looks really happy and settled in her new foster home. Thanks, Fiona, for the really fun update.

MemberDiscovered a few new things about the little princess over the last day or two. Diva LOVES a ball! She found one here that -amazingly- still has its squeak intact and she plays with it non-stop!!
She will fetch a thrown ball every time and loves the game.
She is also extremely good in the car. We had her on a slightly longer journey yesterday and she just lay down on the back seat the whole time. Her recall is excellent and she comes without fail when called which is incredible because, when I got her on Sunday, we changed her name. So with THREE name changes in her short life, she has copped on remarkably quickly.
She is completely toilet trained and will always go outside herself if she needs to. A really great girlie!!!

MemberYou and me both, Lorraine!!!
I have to say, however, that the "failed fosterers club" is DEFINITELY the place to be.
Try not to "fail" as often as us, though!!!
Congrats, Daisy. A long and happy life to you and your lucky new family.

MemberDiva continues to delight us all here.
All she wants to do is play all day long (in between the chewing, that is!
). She is always on the lookout for a chase – she will grab anything that she can and TEAR off with it in the hope that someone, be they human or canine, will value the cargo enough to chase her to retrieve it!
For all that, she is quite gentle in nature and will retreat behind someone’s legs if the going gets too rough. She ADORES people and everyone she sees gets greeted with wild enthusiasm. A wonderful little girl – another one we will find hard to let go.
In the pics below look at the rapt attention to the upheld treatCAM_0871.JPG

MemberSo, so sorry to hear of the passing of poor Oscar.
Reading back over his thread, though, all in DID and you, his forever family improved the quality of his life NO END and, for that, you can all be very proud and gratified. He knew true love and happiness (albeit shortlived
) and I am sure his last months were very happy for him. So sad.

MemberAh, my little GIZ!!!!!!!!
Not so little now, I see. You have grown up to be a beaut – just as we all predicted you would. We were only thinking of you recently. You were in foster with us during all the snow last year and, when this cold spell happened, we recalled how funny you were running around in the deep snow!
People in Tymon Park still ask about you. DELIGHTED to be able to tell them that you are ALL GROWN UP now and still fab!!! Thanks so much for the update. Hugs and licks from all here to the little man.

MemberThat is FANTASTIC news!
So thrilled for the (I was going to say little but I reckon BIG covers it better!!!!
) man!! A long and contented "happy ever after" to you, Bobby. Don’t forget to keep in touch.
