Hi
Do you think Bobby would be okay to live with children??? He sounds very good natured and gentleYvonneMMemberOh and just to let you know kennel cough vaccine is an annual injection alike dogs booster vaccine.
YvonneMMemberTo my knowledge there is a fee per night the dog spends in the pound, not sure of the exact amount.
YvonneMMemberI did that homecheck, Scruffy is fab Ashton pound dog too. Plus Belinda’s new mam and dad will spoil her rotten. Really fantastic dog household. Best of luck Belinda
YvonneMMemberAre Hope’s pups going to be rehomed through DID. Can’t wait to see what they look like now, always check the site to see if they have been added.
YvonneMMemberI did one too for Eoin, he is a popular chap. Don’t envy Admin making the decision. There are beautiful pups with DID at the minute, hopefully no one will be dissapointed and will consider one of the other wow wows should they miss out on Eoin
YvonneMMemberSweet jesus it is hard to even make out he is a little dog. Poor pet. Think how relieved he will be to be rid of that coat.
YvonneMMemberA lady in works sister adopted Boomer who is now Bruce. I only found out this morning. She knows I’m dog mad so was telling me that her sister May homed a rescue dog yesterday. Low and behold from DID. Once she mentioned nervous springer, I knew it was Boomer. They have always had springers and when she saw him on the net he was the man for her. They are mad about him. She refuses to think of his previous life only the life he has ahead of him. They live really close to Sandycove and Dun Laoghaire pier so he’ll have loads of nice walks. He is very quiet and nervous for his first night, has stopped in his basket and won’t budge. They are taking it slowly and hoping to coax him round today with some treats. I can’t wait to hear of his progress.
YvonneMMemberSpotted Flash out today, he seemed to be a much more content and relaxed dog. Only a baby, not too bad on the lead, strong but would quickly learn. Really good with the other dogs big and small. Really handsome dog, beautiful markings, real little seal pup face!
YvonneMMemberShe has the look of a kerry blue. Beautiful girl
YvonneMMemberI saw her on Saturday, whinchy little thing. Little dote, cowered in the back of kennel. Pound is not the place for a sensitive breed.
YvonneMMemberOh you might just have to hang onto Pippa!
YvonneMMemberSpotted Des out with a man today doing the rounds. He is a far happier dog when out and about, unbelievalbly nervous and hand shy. No way was he going back into the pound. In the end he was lifted back in. He is stunning tri-colour collie. Needs a very understanding home that will build up his confidence. Beautiful dog.
YvonneMMemberI had Eddie out this morning for a good 40 mins. He has no lead training or commands, he pulls constantly and is strong. Once he saw another dog he wanted over to say hello straight away. He managed to bust his collar so he went awol for a couple of minutes til I caught him. He went wild off lead, a true sign of this pups exhuberance and lust for life! He was excellent with the other dogs, he is a little in your face with the smallies (he has no manners lol). He is so super handsome, beautiful wirey golden coat. Very friendly, loved a belly scratch and cuddle. He mouthy a little with my hands. He has super white pearly teeth, fairly sharp though! I distracted him from pulling towards other dogs with a high pitched whistle. He responded very well to this. He is a smart guy, inherent with his gene pool. Loves his treats i think with some guidance and training he would be a model citizen.
YvonneMMemberI think he looks 100% better already. The baths look to be soothing the rawness. Plus the hair he has got is super white and super fluffy. He is a little dote. Would be a perfect house dog.
