Poor Frankie has had a rough few days, his operation wasn’t as straightforward as hoped so his recovery has been a bit slower! Though to be fair he is being a trooper, eating great trying to get involved with play but still sore
He’s a stubborn little fella though he won’t let it stop him, his aunty kate took him for a little stroll and when he realised they were turning back he twice sat down with is bum on ground not going anywhere
Heres a few pre snip photos chilling in the sun!

1640.JPGjulesmMemberToday I had a flashback to the glory days of farm living! My mam and dad brought me and the girls down to the canal for a lovely long walk where my crazy sister got into the water in the freezing cold Just about to turn around when Mel tore off through a gap in the hedge, well it would just be rude not to follow and see did she need my assistance! So off behind her I went and there in front of me was a herd of cows! And a horse! I knew Christmas was coming! My mam was like a crazed lunatic when we got back but it was the best day I’ve had in a long time! My herding days aren’t over yet!!
julesmMemberVictor is a great little fella so small and feisty, a really lively little pup! His tiny legs move very fast and he loves nothing more than a good chase around the house when hes managed to snare a sock, slipper, piece of plastic, another dog’s leg in order to start a game up.
He adores the girls equally Yazz takes his whole head in her mouth and that seems to work for him, he obviously thinks its dark and quiet and would like a nap in there! He in turn gives her affection by swinging out of her bottom lip or letting himself be dragged around the muck by the collar! Its not a quiet house, but then, that would be boring
Hes cuddled up with me here on the sofa waiting for dinner, we get a chipper on Friday so hes dreaming of a junior box and a battered sausage! Tummy bug obviously passed!
We has Gerry Lee in foster this time last year so its not too late to claim him as your own u prospective adoptive parents out there!
julesmMemberPoor Yazz has gotten over her sickness today when she realised that she was a Dogs in Distress Poster girl! Nothing like a bit of celebrity to cheer a girl up! Of course its nothing new to her being an 80’s superstar but it never hurts to be reminded! Heres some little poorly photos from yesterday! As usual foster brother Victor is minding her!

julesmMemberAwh our poor little pup was sick the last two days with a tummy bug but thank god today we are back to normal after a bit of tlc and a visit to Paul the vet! Heres a pic of him chewing on a bone his nanny liz sent him to make him better!
IMAG0102.jpgjulesmMemberOh Mary you summed him up to perfection, our wee willie is still making me laugh. He used to stroll off the lead beside my two and run at them barking and run off in pure divilment coz they were leaded up, what a character!
julesmMemberAwh my big baby! He just gets more gorgeous by the minute! Hope all in your house are well. Big in love snog from Yazz coming Gerry’s way!
julesmMemberI’m so sorry to hear of your loss, big doggy kisses from all in the Burke house xxx
julesmMemberJust a proud mammy update! Our Mel is now 2years old and our little role model. Gives all new dogs the heads up on house rules and acts as protector for them while the other loola tries to play with them or eat their heads which is basically the same thing! Shes a scream, loves her mammy and daddy and often wakes up with her head on the pillow between us, shes a human in her head! Anywhere theres heat there is Mel! Comes on home visits all the time casting the approving eye, very loyal and beautiful nutter! Big United supporter!
