Charlie

Charlie is a wonderful Collie who thrives on companionship and loves spending time with his people. Affectionate and incredibly intelligent, he's a quick learner who enjoys training, belly rubs and being part of the family. He can get very excited when meeting new people because all he really wants is to be loved.

Charlie would do best as the only dog in the home. While he can learn to be around other dogs, he needs time to build trust and can be reactive, so a home without canine companions will allow him to feel more relaxed and secure.

Like many Collies, Charlie is active and enjoys having both physical exercise and mental stimulation. His ideal home would be in the countryside or a quiet area with a large, secure garden where he can run, play and explore. He'd love an active owner who can enjoy runs or games with him away from busy places, as unfamiliar or crowded environments can make him anxious.

Charlie walks well on the lead and has been trained to comfortably wear a muzzle when out and about. This is simply to keep him safe if he becomes overwhelmed in unfamiliar situations. He also travels well in the car and is happy to come along on adventures.

Charlie is not suitable to live with cats and is looking for a home with children aged 10 years and over.

With the right home, Charlie will reward his family with unwavering loyalty, affection and a lifetime of companionship.
