Settled in? As the human is outnumbered three to one, I can only assume that is the dogs’ chill-out room

Hello Twinkle, I just love all your photos. You really are a very pretty and charming little dog. There is a car advert that runs on the TV here and it starts off with a woman sining "Twinkle, Twinkle". Every time I hear it I do wonder if it plays in other houses or is it some sort of message being sent to me
I probably am bonkers in many ways
but I am not mad and don’t really believe it is a message from the TV for me – honest – but it does ALWAYS make me think of you Twinkle
. Seeing either you or Snowy at the top of the page always makes my heart jump and I love hearing about you both. ![]()
Snowy, how are you getting along in your nice, new foster home? Its very good for you to have change now and again, it helps us to grow and mature and be able to deal with the different things that life throws at us all, not just very cute little mutts like you
You and Twinkle are my very top favourite terriers girls so just off to ‘visit’ Twinkle now
Let us know how you are doing, I know its not just me who follows you
.
What a lovely up-date and a very ‘Happy Ending’ indeed. I am sure when dogs have had a very hard time, they hang onto every tiny bit of happiness they find and goodness me, Sooty has found a whole world of happiness. Sooty’s happy ending has certainly warmed my heart ![]()
I would bet everything I have that you don’t miss that scabby bit of string you used to be attached to. What a lovely happy ending to a beautiful dog ![]()
Any news on Pickles? I am sure he just ‘floats’ along, bothering no-one and soaking up all the kindness given to him ![]()
Snowy, how are you getting along in your new house? How very exciting for you, needless to say, I can’t wait for an up-date. Yes, new foster family, I am Snowy’s number one stalker
and make no apology for that
, she is a cracking little dog.
Now Snowy, just been reading through your foster person’s up-date. Thank you foster person for that up-date, I was so excited when I saw it
. From reading your whole blog Snowy I can only imagine, as you lived with an elderly person and also had major health issues, you probably didn’t get out and about much and probably felt pretty poorly
. You have had enough time now to settle, get your full health back you can begin to be yourself and allow all your little worries to come out
. Who wouldn’t be scared of buses
, they are huge, smelly and noisey and as you are close to the ground you probably get more of the exaust fumes and noise than most of us. My little dog Nellie is also terrified of the hoover and I have to confess, as we are not houseproud she doesn’t see too much of it, but when the hoover does put in an appearance, she is off like a shot! She is really scared and hides until it goes back into its cupboard. As for favourite people and a bit ‘shy’ with some other people
. Again, who knows what experiences you have either enjoyed or suffered. Just like the rest of us, we don’t all like the same people. Some get on with us and some don’t. We are happy in some company and uncomfortable and unhappy in other company. We all treasure and protect the things that are important to us
. We are all flawed in many ways but we find the people, the dogs and the many other things we like and make allowances for the things we want to keep close
. I hope you enjoyed or are still enjoying your bone, a real doggy treasure
. I think and it is only what I think, that your dream home would be with a couple who could spend their days with you, walking, talking and learning your ‘come along now we need to get going’ looks
. That made me laugh, I could just picture the situation
. You are such a smart, clever little dog. Your foster person loves you for who you are. When your very own family do appear, they will treasure your companionship and shower you with all the kindness you deserve
. You are only middle aged and have many years of fun and companionship to come – goodness me, I am older than you
. You are safe and cared for in your foster home but it is a total mystery to me as to why you are still in foster care.
I continue to follow you from afar Snowy, you are one of my favourites ![]()
Snow Snowdrop, great to see you at the top of the page. I feel guilty about ‘haunting’ you and Twinkle
and have been trying not to do it but its difficult. I love hearing about you, you are such a dear little dog
.
You are right DaggFamily. I thought that when he first appeared on the site. Your Max (Evan) could be the son of my Cassie dog, hence my heart jumped somewhat when I saw Pickles. Tried to find Max on FB but failed. I will try again tomorrow, very keen to see him in action ![]()
Sweet little dog. You know, if someone offered me money I honestly could not pick a favourite dog from the entire page
. I would have them all
Pickles looks like he would be totally loyal, I suppose that is the Collie part. Seems to have a bit of a madly hairy tail – does it fit the rest of him? ![]()
Hi Twinkle, can’t leave you out of my little terrier fix. I assume you are trotting along nicely with your lovely foster family
Any new adventures recently?
Snowy, quick – get to the top of the page so everyone can compare the family likeness between you and Tally
What are you up to these days anyway?
Tally looks like a young Snowy snowdrop
She, Tally, is a little livewire and she is going to be GREAT fun for someone
. Terriers are great, small dogs with massive personalities – I just love them ![]()
Many years ago we had a JRT bitch who did the complete opposite. She used to stand on her front paws and ‘walk’ her back paws up walls, trees, fences and had a wee like that. Very odd
, but she did it that way her entire life and she lived to a grand old age
. Tally is indeed very, very cute.
