MemberHello,
Just a quick update to say that Flo continues to be a source of joy! She is getting funnier and more impish all the time. Her new game is to lie on her back on the tiles and have dad spin her round and round! She gets really hyper and giddy. She is such a little character.
She walks the seafront every day with Pepsi (Who she continues to terrorise). Poor Pepsi grabs her toy raccoon and runs to hide it as soon as they get in which makes us laugh.
Granny and grandad are so taken with her and Pepsi as a duo and keep asking for the furry grandkids to be brought into the sitting room where they go bananas competing and showing off (With Grandad supplying them with endless treats)
She is the perfect dog for us. Full of fun but also not very demanding(Apart from kicking you on the sofa if you forget to pet her!) and is just happy to be in company.
The bed is full of hairs, the rug is full of antibacterial spray from little wees, the floor is muddied with little paw prints and we love it!
Thanks DID – Hello to Christine and Shane. I see Brandy (Who I thought was called Ginger!) is rehomed and now you have Tiny. Such lucky doggies!

MemberHallo there,
This week I made a new friend called Chloe and we went walking on the seafront. I am super friendly and love meeting new dogs. She is now my Wednesday walking buddy.
Then Pepsi visited me but she was very naughty and paid me back for all the times I wee’d on her stuff. She did a number 2 on the floor of my house but I took care of it by pee’ing on top of it to mark it… I dont think my mammy thought it was sorted!
Pepsi then located my decret hidey hole where I like to hide things and she wee’d in it. That was the boldest thing she has ever done and I was most indignant. So I decided to visit Pepsi yesterday and the decided that I would see what I could mark there (To pay her back). I decided I liked the look of the Grandad and climbed on his knee and marked him. That will show Pepsi. I think he should be very honoured I picked him. He did not seem to think so but the rest of the family sure laughed and laughed (And grandad was not grumpy at all despite his trousers being very wet!)
I cant wait to see what the next battle with Pepsi brings… She has a squeaky raccoon that she hides when I come over and I have been eyeing that a bit!
I get loads of walks and they are my favourite things. I like dressing up and trotting along meeting dogs. Mainly I like walking on the seafront or pier because it is quite wet (And I am so little my belly rubs off the wet grass and gets cold). So paths suit me best.
I also love having breakfast on the sofa with my dad in the morning. He talks away to me and we watch TV. He then brings my mammy in a cup of coffee and I go running into the bed with her for snuggles before she gets up.
Life is great because I am a very happy little character. I am relaxed and laid back with a cheeky little smile.
Hi to all in DiD – I see that Coby got a home (He is the same age as me). I am glad us golden oldies are being appreciated as we sure do have lots and lots of love to give,
Flo x
P.S. Do NOT let any of my dog buddies watch ‘The secret life of dogs’… There were sad dogs on it and when I heard them howling I cried and cried even after it was switched off. I had to be brought for a walk to make me feel better. I do love TV though and love watching dogs on it and I talk to them.

MemberHello there!
I have had a great day today. My friend Pepsi called over for the day. We put on our matching pink rain coats and went to the park and the dog run in Shankill. Pepsi is very nervous of people so I have been helping to show her it is ok. So today Pepsi showed me how to run and bounce and play more. So we are good friends for each other. A big dog barked at Pepsi and I went running to help her – that’s what pals do! (I am pretty sure I showed that big dos who’s boss with my four inch legs and pink rain coat!)
Then we went home and played and napped. Sometimes we get a bit competitive for attention and then we just just flop down on the sofa. We are getting more and more used to each other and I am visiting her house tomorrow.
I am very loved in my new home. I have my own cushion on the sofa, a soft basket and a chest that I keep all of my different collars, coats and blankets in. I get snuggled and played with all of the time and my family keep cuddling me. I go everywhere with my new mum and dad but I have been left alone for a couple of hours and am happy once all my comforts are there. I just have a nap and wait for them.
I have another doggy date during the week with a new dog pal called Chloe. I am hoping she is good fun too (We are going for a walk on Bray seafront which is a favourite of mine)
A bog hello to my Dog’s in Distress pals and big doggy kiss to Shane and Christine for keeping me and showing me so much love whilst I waited for my new family.

MemberSo we were out walking in Shanganagh Park and got talking to a lovely lady.
She was busy admiring Flo and I said I got her from DiD and she said her neighbour Audrey is involved in Dogs In Distress. Small world! I did not catch the lady’s name but she was telling me she has a Bichon Frise called Misty.I told her to tell her neighbour that Flo says thanks for all of the help and we say thanks for bringing Flo to us.
Flo has mastered sitting on the door mat and doing a little bark to let us know when she needs to go to the toilet which is brilliant. However, the same does not extend to when she is in Pepsi’s house where she likes to wee on all of Pepsi’s stuff! Good job Pepsi seems to have a sense of humour about it
Such a cheery little doggy – We are still besotted with her (She is currently sitting up on her cushion between us lying on her back kicking us to prompt us to pet her every so often!).

MemberHaha Christine – Flo would love to adopt you. She just has to save up to move to a bigger house where we all fit (Maybe ‘Pepsi and Flo’ should call up Wham for a comeback tour!)
Happy new year to you and Shane – Hope you are getting on well with Ginger (And Bump!)

MemberCoby sounds and looks lovely. I sincerely people realise the advantages of an older doggy and he finds his forever home!
We adopted an 8 year old and there is a huge amount to be said for it – She does not chew anything, is trained and we know exactly what she is like (ie her little personality is in place), plus she has a lovely confidence.
Good luck Coby – I hope you get snapped up as you look like an absolute gem.
