Dougie doing his tricks
He is a beauty alright! thanks L
His coat is sooooo shiny now, Paul gave him a good scrubbin ![]()
Picked up gentle dougie from the vets yesterday afternoon, all went well, Vet has aged him between 3 & 5. He was feeling a little sorry for himself (see pic), which is allowed!! but I brought him home and spoiled him rotten for the evening. He is most definitely back to his happy self this morning ![]()

Well….. Wanderly (We have renamed him Dougie for short!) is an absolute pet! He really is such a gent, he is getting on great so far with our two and also all of our farm yard animals. He is a handsome boy and looks very much like a retriever except he is black and tan.
I think he has come from a home with kids as he is very gentle around them- see pix (our nieces and nephew). He is well trained, will sit & give the paw
and is used to being in the house.
Have a lovely video of him that I will try to upload ![]()

I have received some fabulous photos and lovely updates from Veronica and Malcolm….
"Things are going really well with Harry. Just as you said, once we established a routine and he understood what was expected of him he relaxed, and he is a darling dog – which is just as well because he helps us, novices that we are, to learn what works.
We are taking things slowly and actually rather enjoying ourselves – we’re going for long walks and really getting out into the spring countryside, which is really rather nice."

Well my little bobalicious (Harry- Love it!) you really have landed on your paws
I cant even begin to explain how happy I am for you! We miss you lots and lots, Nullah even went off her food for a couple of days after you left but we know you are in the BEST home
I cannot thank Veronica and Malcolm enough for having the time and patience to become Harry’s new family.
Well! the day arrived, the day Bobs went to his new home & what a fabulous new home it is.
Veronica & Malcolm came to collect him on Sunday, he went off with a wag of his tail and a glint in his eye
Bobby is such a special little man, I know he is going to be SO happy in his new home ![]()

New Home for Bobs!
Well, on Saturday afternoon we had a visit from a very lovely couple, Malcolm & Veronica. They were absolutely thrilled to meet the Bob man and after a while the feeling was almost mutual (bobby likes to take his time when being introduced to new people, he doesn’t flaunt his love easily!
). We had a call from Malcolm on Sunday to say they are delighted to offer Bobby a new home! I am so happy for bobby as I know he is going to be spoilt rotten
