Hi Sandra,
He IS an adorable little guy and he lived with another female dog in his previous home but when he met my guy he was very cross and I was worried that they would not get on but after a short while they were playing away and they are great pals now (Max doesn’t seem to realise he’s about 1/4 the size of my guy Bran!). You are of course welcome to bring your dog to visit him and see how they get on.
AnnmarieannieoMemberThis cute little guy arrived to stay with us today. His previous owner is very reluctantly letting him go due to family circumstances.
She tells me he is very affectionate, good with children, is a good eater and loves his walks. He is snoozing on my lap as I type this .He is exactly 11 months old today is fully vaccinated, wormed, has been neutered and microchipped and has his Irish Kennel Club pedigree registration cert so hopefully he will find his new home very soon.
Adrienne,if you are interested in Max you can download an adoption application, you will find a link to this at the top of the page under ‘Adopt a Dog’, in the meantime please feel free to post here again if you have any other questions and I will do my best to answer asap.

brand.jpgannieoMemberlovely Daisy went for her op on Thurs and is back to her tail wagging, face licking self thanks to Mark the vet who has a magic touch with all the DID doggies.
cone1.jpgannieoMemberDaisy is going for her op tomorrow, fingers crossed for this lovely lady.
pond.jpgannieoMemberDaisy went to the beach today, she wasn’t too impressed with the wet stuff but she did enjoy chasing seagulls!

sea4.jpgannieoMemberDaisy had a lovely weekend, she really enjoys relaxing in the sun and going for walks. When we go to the dog park everyone she meets loves her, usually commenting on how gorgeous and affectionate she is. She is not overly interested in toys or playing fetch. Bran has tried to interest her by shaking his toys in front of her and occasionally she will respond by playing for a while. Herself and Bran get on really well and have even taken to sharing the beanbag most evenings but I think she would be equally happy as part of a ‘one dog household’ because she loves all the people she meets and while she is very friendly to all the other dogs in the dog park as soon as my back is turned she is usually to be found sitting up on a bench being petted with a big smile on her face .

real.jpgannieoMemberI met this gorgeous pup at his foster home last week. He is a really cute little guy and really clever too. He has already made great progress with toilet training and gets on really well with his foster brothers and sisters. I am fostering his mum Candy/Daisy and if he is anything like his mum in temperament and good looks he will be an absolutely fabulous addition to any family, hope he finds his new home soon.
annieoMemberDaisy continues to thrive, she has settled so easily and has such a friendly nature that I think she will adapt to a new home very easily. She loves company, seeks out pets and cuddles but is equally happy to lie out in the sun on her own and snooze. She is a very relaxed lady who just wants somewhere cosy to live and to be loved, fed and walked (probably in that order!).

profile.jpgannieoMemberThis young lady continues to charm everyone she meets with her lovely friendly manner and happy face. She has settled in so well and apart from the odd sandwich stealing exploit has been an absolute pleasure to have stay with us. She hops into the car no bother and is well behaved during travel. She is good on the lead and loves her trips to the park, dog park, mountains, forests- anywhere really. She is a real ‘hounddog’, nose to the ground following the scent. Her most exciting moment here to date was when a fox appeared in the garden and she nearly went through the kitchen door to get out and when she did (after the fox had left) she did laps of the garden on the trail of his scent. We met a ‘real’ setter in the park the other day and there was a lot of similarity in coat and face but Daisy would be nowhere as big as the other guy and may have a bit of spaniel in the genes which of course makes her even more good looking!

DAISYM.jpgannieoMemberThis beautiful girl, who seems to like being called Daisy, has been with us for a week now so we have had time to get to know each other well. I think I can safely say that she is one of the most adorable dogs I have ever met.She has the temperament of an absolute angel, she is so kind and gentle you can see what a great mammy she was even though she is so young herself. She is such an affectionate girl that it is very obvious that she was a much loved dog in the past, she has a wagging tail for everyone, loves meeting new people and loves to give and receive lots of cuddles and kisses. She is fully house trained, knows how to sit (sometimes!!) especially if there is food involved . She loves eating, going for walks and occasionally playing with her foster friend Bran.

daisytoy.jpgannieoMemberThis gorgeous young lady arrived here on Monday, thanks to Larry. I was concerned that she would be pining for her pup, Rolo, from whom she had just been separated, but she trotted happily in, gave the place a good sniff and shortly after met Bran who tried to overwhelm her with puppy play. He is 8 months old but the same size as Candy and fairly boisterous so I was afraid he might overwhelm her but she behaved like a perfect gentle lady and patiently put up with his antics. She went to the front door a few times to look out and once gave a little whine so we took her out on the lead for a quick walk around the block and I think perhaps she assured herself that her pup was not outside. She has settled wonderfully well and has the most brilliant temperament and we are delighted to have her here as our guest.
IMG00535-20130513-1707.jpgannieoMemberI had the pleasure of meeting Suzy and her fosterer the other day…what a little dote, even the photos dont do justice to what a lovely little girl she is . She gets on so well with her doggie foster brothers and sisters and I was told she is a very self assured young lady who has a lovely temperament, is very affectionate and loves her cuddles. She will make a wonderful addition to any family and will hopefully find her forever home really soon.
annieoMemberI finally got to meet this gorgeous young guy yesterday out walking with his new best friend Ruby. He had a great time running and fetching with my Bran (DID pup Comet). He really is a stunning dog, just one look from those big brown eyes had me signing up to the Jones fanclub. He looks wonderful, happy and healthy and such a pet . He has settled so well into his new home that Lisa says she feels he has been there for ever and not just a few weeks. All of his new family are absolutely in love with this guy and while it must have been so difficult for Claire to let him go I know he will get all the love and care he deserves in his new forever home.
(Lisa promises to update soon, she is having some ‘technical’ difficulties)
annieoMemberThis little lady is well settled now and loving her new home.
