tiny.jpgJuly 5, 2010 at 8:59 pm #98820LuvMyFurKidsMemberIm sure this little guy thinks that Geogina is his Dorothy now that he is in the loving land of Oz!
July 5, 2010 at 10:50 pm #98831DID RescueKeymasterThis is a great little man who spent 8 days in Meath Pound.
He travelled on the back seat with Kealan and not a bother, in fact as soon as he got a pet he jumped straight onto Kealans lap.
The poor lad had a cat collar on so tight I had to get a scissors from Georgina to cut it off.
He was delighted with his first trip around the garden and you could nearly see him saying………look at me I am free to run…… and wee. I would say he is about three years old.
A great little man with a lovable nature.July 7, 2010 at 12:35 pm #98880MarioncMemberHi I saw this dog on Pets Ireland last week under the name of Toby but when i rang the pound they said he was out and safe, have been looking ages for a suitable buddy for my 7 month old dog Poppy, which I adopted in Feb from another rescue centre. July 7, 2010 at 3:56 pm #98826CurlyMemberAudrey!
I wonder if he clicks his paws together three times and says
"Theres no place like home, theres no place like home……"
he might get a good one!!July 7, 2010 at 4:15 pm #98886LuvMyFurKidsMemberWell if his forever family come along with a basket and ruby slippers then we know that all his dreams have come true somewhere over the rainbow!
July 17, 2010 at 7:52 pm #99181RachelAMemberToto is settling nicely even though he only got here yesterday after a stressful week for the little guy. He is full of beans and exceptionally friendly with people.
Dogs interest him. He is not a fan of cats! He is a playful and energetic dog during the day and sleeps soundly through the night. No accidents so far. He is a very happy, sociable dog. He’ll make a lovely little dog for a family.
July 19, 2010 at 8:08 pm #91428animalhelperMemberDelighted he is settling in well… he is the sweetest little fella I’ve met. So adorable and lovable…. hopefully he wont be long waiting on his forever home.
July 20, 2010 at 5:07 pm #99206RachelAMemberSo friendly: here’s Toto with my husband Billy. He jumped on up to say hello.
Toto is enjoying his new toys . He made such an impression walking home with his new squeaky hamburger that tourists stopped me to take photos
Toto and Billy.jpgJuly 20, 2010 at 8:48 pm #99209Angela1MemberI love the second photo of Toto, I could spend ages gazing into his eyes, and what beautiful markings on his face. He’s gorgeous!
July 20, 2010 at 8:57 pm #99210LuvMyFurKidsMemberI had the pleasure of meeting and recieving a great greeting from this little guy and little being the word he is tiny…..what a sweetheart loves company and even had chats with me.
Angela I know what you mean about those eyes you want to see them for real and when he looks up at you….he could melt even the Wicked Witch of the West’s heart ….but we won’t let him try just incase she sets the monkeys on him…July 22, 2010 at 7:43 pm #99292RachelAMemberToto has been making friends with the local puppy population. He’s great with little doggys. Big dogs seem to scare him a bit: on first meeting the usual sniffing hello but then he can get growly after retreating to a very safe distance !
I feel a little socialisation with some friendly big dogs will stop this defensive bravado.
He had his stitches taken out at the vet today and was exceptionally well-behaved. He is very friendly and trusting of people. I haven’t seen him bark at anyone. He must have been well socialised.
We’re getting quite attached to the little guy. He will certainly be missed when he finds a forever home.July 31, 2010 at 8:59 pm #99604RachelAMemberToto is getting much better with other dogs now he’s met some more friendly big guys. I’ve been giving him lots of praise when he has a positive encounter and it seems to be working.
He’s also learning to sit before he gets food/treats/goes on the leash for a walk. Although the last one gets a little hard for him as he gets so excited when he sees the lead
I will update again soon.
