Meet Teddy he was mine and Toms very first Foster in around may 2008. Teddy AKA Dekota, when we got him and he had been in and outta the pound a few times but then he went into a foster. Sadly that didn’t work out cos he had seperation issues…..
Either way Teddy ended up her for a few months, he was another long term foster and he was due to go to England on a wednesday cos there was just no home for him here and we thought he would stand a better chance getting a home in the UK but just when everything was arranged a home came along for him on the monday night no less!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When Teddy went to his new home he had some issues but his new mammy and daddy got trainers in to help him settle in his new life…
Here is some pic’s of him to refresh some memorys…..
We have recived an update on him which is great..
We adopted Teddy in June/July 2008..
We moved to Cavan in March this year and the dogs love it. We have 2 and a half acres leading down to the river Erne. and still Teddy climbs over the fence (like a ladder!) to visit the farm across the road. We are on a quiet country lane so its safe enough. Though we did try many ways to block his route,he still found a way out anyway!
Teddy is incredably intelligent and never fails to make us laugh. He loves being out in the garden ‘cutting the grass’ with the ride-on mower, digging holes for new plants and making off with young trees he thinks are sticks for him.
He has the face of a wire-haired pointer and the colouring of an english setter, so he is in his element here, trying to hunt!
