This little guy was great on the lead today – just wanted to sniff around happily. Grumbled at me when I offered a belly rub
Just wanted to keep going – having too much fun to stop
Jimmy’s an older dog who’d make a great companion and wouldn’t ask much in return.
Jimmy is a lovely little dog. He is so quiet in his Kennel, just sits waiting for someone to take him out. I had him out with Dash briefly today. They walked well together. So he is good with dogs, and fine with children too. Yes he had a little grumble when I stopped for cuddles, he wants to get the walking value out of you. He is a great fella, a littel old man who deserves a nice quite home. Very like Tess, but slightly bigger.
There are only certain dogs that Jimmy will entertain at Ashton. He has very little time for the young ones, he finds them too noisey and they steal his lime light. Jimmy’s ears popped up when he saw a tennis ball hanging around this morning. He loves playing ball, if not a little noisey and barky in his enthusiasm. The little tail was wagging so much. He looks like a bit of an old timer, but he can go when he wants. I hope this little man gets out of the pound very soon.
Being a golden oldie (well kind of) Jimmy’s patience with other dogs sometimes wears thin – but having said that he is a great little character, full of personality. He loves walks – great on the lead – loves to play ball and he particularly likes squeeky toys – he was still playing with his when he went back into his kennel. This is a great little dog and he deserves a warm home soon. ![]()
