i love the look of this guy .. do we know anything about him? is he big? ![]()
about gsd size and under a year
I can take this guy on monday morning first thing for a week for sure. I am between homes at the moment (renovating) but have fostered before. I should be able to sort something after the week but I would like to get him out of the pound as soon as possible. Let me know if I can pick him up on Monday! Looking forward to meeting him….
I had Eddie out this morning for a good 40 mins. He has no lead training or commands, he pulls constantly and is strong. Once he saw another dog he wanted over to say hello straight away. He managed to bust his collar so he went awol for a couple of minutes til I caught him. He went wild off lead, a true sign of this pups exhuberance and lust for life! He was excellent with the other dogs, he is a little in your face with the smallies (he has no manners lol). He is so super handsome, beautiful wirey golden coat. Very friendly, loved a belly scratch and cuddle. He mouthy a little with my hands. He has super white pearly teeth, fairly sharp though! I distracted him from pulling towards other dogs with a high pitched whistle. He responded very well to this. He is a smart guy, inherent with his gene pool. Loves his treats i think with some guidance and training he would be a model citizen.
We met Eddie in the pound on Friday and fell for him big time. We’re delighted we were able to bring him home with us this morning. So far he’s had a name change (his new name is Finn), had a bath (really could do with another one!) and he’s just wanting to love absolutely everyone he’s met. He’s well behaved and calm in the house but is definitely strong on the lead so we have some work to do there (he’s lying on the floor beside me and he’s out for the count after bringing us for a not so leisurly afternoon walk)
. He’s really fantastic and we’re delighted with him. He was happy to smile for the camera today so here’s a photo of him settling in to his new forever home.

He looks terrific and his name really suits him. Well done and thanks for giving this wonderful chap a new start.
