Well look who is making himself right at home!
YvonneMMemberKenny’s photos don’t do him any justice, he is a really handsome dog in the flesh. Only young too, I think his wirey coat might age him but not at all a really cute baby. Smart out.
YvonneMMemberOMG cannot believe this, she was a little dotey dote dote. Poor pet, so sad. Heartbreaking.
YvonneMMemberCongratulations, so he got his full M.O.T and is ready for Santa! Make sure you keep everyone updated on his progress
YvonneMMemberHe is a stunner and a big softy. I saw you with him yesterday, it great that you have some history on him and know he has previously lived with young kids. Best of luck Buster!
YvonneMMemberI second that, thank you Niamh, she is a really special little lady
YvonneMMemberI walked Harley today. He is good on the lead, very unassuming, trots along, sniffing away not very interested in interacting with the other dogs or me in fact. He is friendly though. A little unsure of me until I knelt down to his level. He is a little timid but was happy for me to pet his head. A car drove up the pound driveway and he pulled like mad towards it. Another volunteer had him out after me and said the same. It looked as though he is waiting for his owners to come get him. Break your heart. He looks a little sad and is unsure of himself. A really kind little fella, hope he isn’t overlooked
YvonneMMemberAm so happy, her and Cal got into foster today. Both are the biggest sweethearts. Merry Christmas doggies, you totally deserve it!
YvonneMMemberKerry is stunning. Such a pretty dog. Personality in spades, very much a sassy terrier. She was wearing a little read jumper in the pound to keep her warm. She is really small. Very people friendly, full of tail wags and licks. A feisty little girl, she would crack you up. Surely she will be snapped up
YvonneMMemberI had Kenny out today. He is good on the lead once he settles, he is anxious to get going. Lots of energy, he barked away in his kennel until he got your attention. He is super affectionate, is happy to stop for a snuggle, tail wags non stop and he gives out licks freely. He is great with the other dogs big and small. Responsive to praise and direction. A super fella, he is light frame and no taller than knee height. I love his wirey coat, a very handsome chap.
YvonneMMemberAm in love with Jemma, she is a stunner. Beautiful shiney coat, she is only young, needs to put a bit of meat on her frame. She is a small collie, only above knee height. She is good on the lead and responds well to praise. Absolutely loves a fuss, rolled over for belly rubs, gave out licks to everyone. Fantastic with the other dogs. An ideal family pet
YvonneMMemberDawn is just beautiful. Good on the lead, loved to be petted and made a fuss of. Gave lots of licks. Gentle happy little thing, great with the other doggies big and small.
YvonneMMemberRusty looks fantastic, he was so small and fragile looking in his first snap, he really has blossomed into a very cute little pup
YvonneMMemberBest of luck Blitzen in your new home…..
YvonneMMemberI had ten days of full on alpha dominance displays, I had two large labs having a go at each other. Felt so sorry for Sally (original dog) her little world was turned upside down. I knew though that what she ‘lost’ i.e. our undivided attention she would gain ten fold by having a constant companion. Anywho she won the alpha title, Stevie is happy to be second in command!! They are great pals now a year on, actually within six weeks they were inseperable. He is an Ashtown poundie, love him to bits, big ole dote of a dog. People need to give pups/dogs a chance to settle, they are not going to be Lassie without any training/guidance. Dogs are sensitive souls
