I cant believe how great this boy is doing.
He is such a character, he is loving and gentle and such a lovely social boy.

His house training is really coming on, we thought he had it perfected and then he decided when the rain and wind picked up last night that it was far to dangerous for him to venture out to do his business

He sleeps all night, he isnt destructive (well unless you put something shiney in front of him, they are just fair game to all my lot!!)
But he still seems to just hold it in his mouth.
He is a real sweet boy who is a pleasure to foster.

I will post photos later, i promise.

Got an update and photos from Vitos lovely family

You will not believe how big Vito is gettin (neither can we!!) I reckon he has grown every morning when he wakes up. He is doing great – very good and very inquisitive and lively. We are all mad about him We have got to know his little personality and traits.

He has been fab in the training dept – didn’t need to put newspapers down at all. I would say he had maybe four acidents in the house and thats all. Susans dogs had him well trained. He knows loads of commands can sit give the paw, lie down and get into bed. He comes on all the school runs as soon as he hears the keys rattle he is at the front door. He knows which coat I wear talking him for a walk and runs to get ready. He is just gorgeous and has a real little personality!!

He loves to say hello to every human and every animal we meet on our walks so they can take some time. The kids on the road LOVE him and are always calling for Vito – I think it is hilarious – Can Vito come out to play?!!! The other Mums thanked us for getting the surrogate dog for th cul-de-sac!!
We met a lovely dog called Harriet out walking the other night ( tho walking at night can be difficult as Vito is a bit scared of the dark!!) and it turned out she came from you guys too.. They had a great play together..

So there you are all Vito’s news…

I am so lucky i now get to foster this beautiful boy as his other foster families dog had to have an operation.

So he came bounding in yesterday and was not at all fazed by my 3 nutters!

He was full of puppy energy yesterday but today he has really calmed. Its like having Marley from the movie in to entertain us (well except for the colour!) He is clumsy and loving and everything is a toy or food or both
He isnt destructive, he is getting there with house training but because he is so chunky you forget he is only barely 4 months.

He is a pleasure to foster xxx

Again i am so lucky to have the families of my fosters stay in touch. It makes my day to see all about them.
I can’t believe how much Abel has grown.
He officially is the fourth child in his home and i know he knows he really landed on his four paws!

Saffis family have been so good with sending me pictures. It is so nice to see her grow and see what a great home she has.
She really is a huge part of their family and they love her even when she is being a silly puppy!

I got to meet this boy this evening, and he is just a stunner!
It just shows you what some T.L.C and good food does for them.

He is all Lab with fantastic chunky paws and a beautiful shiney coat and he has a true Lab disposition. He just steals your heart straight away. He even got to meet Willis, and they really loved eachother.

Well done Colin for saving this beautiful boy :D
Can’t wait to see what lucky family get this beauty

Little Willis is doing great, he tried very hard to be brave at Halloween with all the fireworks but he just couldn’t manage it!!

Everything is a toy, so when there was a spare soother lying around he made the most of it, and considering my daughter loves to rock him to sleep this really fits :D

He also likes to help on the laptop

But he does find it a bit boring and he nods off!!

Bear is doing great. He is a happy chap who is learning to play and have fun.
Bear is fully house trained, he is never destructive and is a gentle loving boy.
He continues to make us all smile and he is just the best foster dog!!

He has found that socks are a great toy

I can’t believe we barely have Willis 5 days, he is such a great boy.
He has really settled and is great fun to foster.
He has really bounced back well. He loves his grub and gets so excited after a good feed.

Willis oozes confidence so the big dogs don’t faze him, in fact he is more comfortable with them.
But his favourites are people, he loves nothing better than a snuggle. He will wriggle his face into your fleece or into your armpit! Or up on your chest. The closer to you the better.
He is best buddies with my daughter and she is teaching him good manners with kids.

Like all puppies he has 15 mins of mad energy followed by a really good snooze. He still isnt to nippy but he is teething so he wants toys to chew to help cut the teeth. Training is a work in progress  but hey, nobody is perfect!!

Every day we learn more about Bear. Today it is that he loves to watch T.V!!

He is so much fun to foster. We are really getting to so see his personality. And the more we learn the more we love him. He gets on great with my 3 dogs and he is fantastic with kids. I know its because he is so easy going that everyone just accepts him. He just fits himself in to any situation.

His coat is really coming on. He doesn’t shed, but needs a quick brush each day (which he loves, he even gets excited when he sees the kids take out the hairbrush because he thinks they are going to brush him  ) His groomer Martina from An Madra Nua gave me a good tip, just take a leg a day for a quick brush and that maintains a fantastic healthy coat!

He loves his walks and when he runs his coat looks like the dog from the Dulux adverts swishing in the wind!
Please have a think do you have a Bear sized hole in your heart and home
