From Bensons foster family
This little fella has been with Jacqueline and I since Friday and he has settled in great.
He’s been out on lots of walks and is no problem at all. Brilliant with other dogs, amazing recall and great fun to be out and about with. He even went for a little dip down on the beach the other day. I was very proud of him because my friend has been working on getting his dog to go for a swim for a while now and Benson shot past him and lead the way:-)
In the evenings he loves nothing more than curling up in a little ball by the fire and having a snooze but if there’s a cuddle on offer he is straight over. Very, very affectionate little guy.
I thought he might make strange for the first few days while he was settling in and finding his feet but that hasn’t happened at all.
We bought him a few little toys to play with but none of them have had a look in since he found an empty plastic purple fruice bottle. He loves playing fetch but hasn’t quite got the hang of bringing it back yet, just loves being chased around ![]()
Benson has a great little personality.
Will upload more pictures during the week.
Brilliant photos…thank you….they are so alike ![]()
From her foster family:
Just to update you on how little Molly is getting on. Well she is certainly finding her ‘paws’ and growing in confidence by the hour. Of course we are still sussing each other out trying to find out about each other. So far this is what she has told us;
Likes sitting on our lap and will snuggle in but not yet ready for cuddles or kisses. . . and may never be, but thats ok. . .
Loves being oudoors with us in the garden for short periods ..
Likes short walkies and great on lead. . .
Most likely housetrained but just confused at the min, what with all the distress of change and loss…
Does not like sleeping in her new doggie bed . . . Its armchairs all the way. . .has picked out the big armchair beside patio door cos it catches all the sun rays
Likes her new big brother ‘Frankie’, she looks to him to let her know if something is ok or not. He a cool confident type who knows the score around here
Likes her food, chicken is yummy, today tried out Royal Canin for small older doggies.
After their agility ![]()

he’s full of energy and gets on well with children and other dogs, he would make a great and loyal addition in his own forever home x
