From her foster family
Just to update you on little Mollie. I brought her back to my vet on Saturday 9th and he is pleased with her progress. She was 2.9kg on Monday last and by Saturday she was 3.1kg. She has started to get a little fussier about her food and now refuses chicken and liver and has reverted back to eating only Royal Canin (Mature dogs over 8yrs).
She continues on antibiotics for the infection in her mouth/bad teeth and will stay on these untill her operation.
Mollie endears herself to everyone she meets, although she certainly has a mind of her own and lets us know when she does’nt like something.
She loves running up and down the back lawn doing twirls and dancing on her back legs, although she will only stay outside for a few minutes before running back inside, I think she’s afraid she may be left outside. She is good with other dogs and is’nt really bothered by our 4 pet chickens and mostly ignores them.
House training is going ok but slowly !!
Mollie is due to have her operation on Thurs 21st Feb. she will have 4/5 mammary tumours removed, at least 9 teeth extracted and she will be spayed.
We really wish this poor little girl didn’t have to face such major surgery but unfortunately the choice is not ours because we have to do the best for her in the long run.
