MemberFrodo met his new family today
Match made in heaven!
He’s off to be vax’d and chipped tonight and then off he goes …jdogs2010
MemberFrodo loves the sun .. it’s official!!
He just wants to lay out on the deck sunbathing
I walked him up to my daughter’s school today at home time to suss him out with crowds etc. Not that there were huge crowd’s or anything but he reacted brilliantly. He can be a bit bouncy at times and gets excited over the smallest thing but he just sat/stood at my feet for the whole time we were there. Very proud of him
I’d like to be able to say he’s getting bigger but he’s notI reckon he’s just always gonna be this cute!
He’s in his crate right now cos he’s had a good bit of exercise today and he just wanted to go to bed
He’s getting vax’d & chipped this week so after that he’s all ready to go ..for me but
for Frodo!!

Off we go …
Having fun with our collie
He loves to run!
Tummy rubsThis fella is a dream. Brilliant dog.
He’s a flyer too. He loves to run. For the size of him (he’s so small!) you’d never think he could get up to the speed he does
We went out today with two of our own dogs and he just loved it. He always does
Still not one accident indoors since the day he came to us. The minute we open the back door he’s gone and he’d very happily play out there all day if we let him. He’s brilliant.jdogs2010
Memberamazing. she looks fantastic. her poor owner. it’s a pity we can’t do more for elderly people & their pooches
well done to all involvedjdogs2010
Memberhi there .. as far as I’m aware it’s a no
.. probably guide dogs only. it’s so crowded on the day in there that i don’t think it’d be very safe anyway. i thought of it last year myself but wasn’t an option. hope that helps

MemberAnother great day with this guy. We had a bit of a family drama yesterday so he was left alone for quite a while longer than he ordinarily would be. Poor guy. He handled it really well and no accidents or anything. My inlaws brought him up to their house to play with Simba for a while and they got on great again.
I’ve been making it up to him today with lots of games out in the back garden and a nice walk today. He loves playing fetch .. and I think he’s finally learning that when he doesn’t bring it back he’s left sitting waiting for it to be thrown againHe loves toys. Really loves them. Be it chew toys or just plain old tennis balls. Again, proof of how playful he is

Memberhi bronte, i think so yes. or a pap cros at least. somebody said pom cross but i think more likely pap myself. she’s a cutie. if she could only stop weeing all over the house we’d be sorted
she’s sleeping a lot the last few days. we’re putting it down to age .. hope we’re rightjdogs2010
MemberBig hug delivered Muireann
Frodo’s got himself a new buddy in Simba (the puppy formerly known as Alfie
). We had him up there yesterday and they played away like the two puppies that they are. My husband brought him up again today and same thing again. They played NON STOP for ages yesterday
Frodo is definitely playful. On the odd occasion he needs to be reminded that it’s time to calm down but overall he’s very manageable.
He is soooo friendly and he loves company. Our house is always full of activity and kids and other dogs and he seems to thrive on it. That’s not to say he wouldn’t be a good companion for someone on their own but I can definitely say he’s great with kids and other dogs and I think he loves the fun of it all.
He has had no toilet accidents at all
He loves the crate too. He sleeps very happily in there every night.

Memberthanks for the advice.
i’m very pleased to say she has settled right in and it’s like she’s always been here. thankfully, she would have known us anyway and i’m sure that’s made things a little easier for her.
we were unsure very recently as to whether we would keep her but as the days go on i think we’re all admitting to ourselves we’d never be able to give her up
it took her a while to come around to the dry food as my poor aunt fed her rubbish but she’s eating the hill’s food quite happily with the other dogs now which is brilliant
thought i’d post up a photo or two as in some of these she looks a few weeks old instead of her 13 years
she was groomed the other day and she looks like a different dog. she gave us lots of affection when she came home which she doesn’t tend to do really so i think it was her way of saying thanks for the new ‘do guys
i was also worried about bringing in foster doggies because i wasn’t sure how she’d react but she’s actually getting on a treat with all of the dogs in the house and i really didn’t think she would so we’re thrilled with that
she gets sooooo excited when she sees her lead being taken down for a walk and she’s like a pup for that period of time out on a walk ..Before & After shots
