Good grief, poor dog. Such a noble breed and for this poor dog to find himself in a canal, river or whatever it was is just horrible. The greatness of those from DID to the rescue, literally. What would all these poor dogs do without DID, what would we all do? Great people, lovely dog, now in safety.
I will keep everything crossed for all of you. I long for Wilbur to find his very own home. I know his foster people love him to bits but he needs to have a permanent family to look out for. I will keep watching.
How is the little, cheeky monkey getting along now. Settling in to a ‘normal’ life. She must feel like the miners that have managed to get out of their underground prison and back to their lives.
Wilbur, take my hand and together we will trot back to page one. Can’t have you on page two, that is outrageous!!! How are you doing anyway?
Dowlingca – I hope you do fail as a foster person, I REALLY do.
‘Failed’ foster families are great and he IS a grand little puppy dog.
SiveG, I can’t believe what you wrote about the cut and bling collar. I honestly thought to myself, if she was mine I would take her for a short, spikey hair do and buy her a sparkly collar, then she would be a princess. My eyes nearly dropped out when I read your blog. I am quite jealous
, she is a super little thing AND a guard dog, super-duper.
What a lovely up-date on a splendid little pup. I am very happy he is with people who know how to look after him, he should start having lots of fun shortly. I look forward to hearing how he gets on.
Twenty four hours in great hands, she must be flying by now. I can picture her dancing on her little hind legs with the joy and happiness of having someone giving her attention and showing her kindness. I could cry!!! The basic things dogs need to be happy are food, water, shelter and C O M P A N I O N S H I P!!!!!!! I cannot believe how some ‘people’ can just chuck a dog like this outside, with no shelter or company, maybe they should have a taste of that for a year or so, they might have a change of heart? I bet her little brain is in overdrive with being part of a ‘pack’, she must be sooooo very happy, I am. She is on my list.
Good. He will go to someone who will cope, e.g. look after a great puppy dog, steer him to his adult life as a good member of his community. Have great fun and companionship together. Dogs really are great company, no side to them at all. People probably don’t realise it, but I adore terriers, especially JRTs. Great, great dogs.
What a cheeky little face. I can’t bear the thought of this little dog being kept outside, she should be in with a family, enjoying everything with a family. I hope whoever takes her will give her the best life ever.
Where did this little soul come from? Ten weeks old and in rescue, its really sad but great that he is with DID, I know he will be OK. ![]()
Thank you a million times over for the new images of the DID Six, but what are you (DID) doing to me??? That little Yorkie and the other little JRT, wwwaaaaa, its like having a hundred plates spinning, I hardly know which way to turn!!!

You are right JenB, if you cover the top part of her picture it really is a lion cub. How funny would that be?
Thank goodness she was taken to safety, little soul could have found herself on a very different path. Well done that person.
She is a little cracker!
That news has made my heart sing:D. Sweet little dogs, I send all my best wishes to you both for long, happy, cared for lives.
