Dee, you look like you are going to have a mad coat when you are a big dog, but so, so cute. Very nice to have ‘met’ you all. Have a nice day.
What an intense little expression you have on your face Dora, wonder what you are thinking about?
Daisy, so happy you got over whatever you had a few weeks ago. Fancy having stayed in a vet practice all on your own for a couple of days – very brave.
Hello Dots, your little legs are TINY, just your paws sticking through that person’s fingers. So sweet ![]()
Just look at that little face, I think he is saying "what are you looking at"? Gorgeous, just gorgeous.
Dolly, what have you been eating – look at the size of your tummy! Thank you from the bottom of my soul to the person who took the photos and for posting the individual photos of the DID Six. Domino is a handsome little chap and the girls, well, what can I say. They are all as beautiful as I have been imagining, its wonderful to see them as little individuals. I can picture them tearing around now, into everything and more. My heart jumped when I saw the 6 pictures right at the top of the page, the person who did that – you have made my day, thank you so much.
Let the fighting to re-home these super little puppies begin ![]()
What a little sweetie. Between Eddie, Roo, the DID Six and Effie, aaaagggggggggghhhhhhhhhhh.
My TINY mind is almost fit to explode! ![]()
Sorry Carol08, beat you to the draw on this occasion. Thank you for up-dating the two other puppies, I am very pleased with myself for my ability to have identified (but really wasn’t sure) Dolly. You must be a very proud foster person today, seeing your charges ALMOST 7 weeks old and going great guns. I will be heartbroken when they get re-homed. My list of the "Oh, if only" dogs to follow grows weekly. I will be trawling through the DID web pages in the hopes of following the Six on their journeys. I really should have more to do with my life but there we go!!!
Yorkie, what have you started? You were the first that I know of using drink bottles to show the size of puppy dogs
. I am going to take a wild quess now, is that Dolly beside the coke can? How they have grown and they all have their little tails. Obviously DID would NEVER have had it any other way, only as nature intended. What are the chances (sorry to even be asking this) of individual pictures of the DID Six. Are they 6 weeks old next Monday? Goodness, what a journey they have had so far and now the world (well, me and many others) awaits to follow their futures.
If you have any problems re-homing ANY of them
well, I am only an E-mail away (and many hundreds of miles, massive car journey, 60 minute flight or several years of walking!!!). Probably a good thing too
.
Well, Miss Effie, how are you after your ‘little adventure’. Please don’t use up any more of your luck, stay safe and STAY WITH YOUR PEOPLE next time you are out and about. I hope you gave big licks to the nice man who found you. ![]()
Elly, take your place in the teeny tiny dog club alongside Pax and Bubs. What a little honey you are. ![]()
Welcome home your little monster
As for your poor foster family – they can take their claws out of the ceiling now and start to behave like normal human beings again. My tip for Effie, always take your people with you, NEVER go off on your own again, otherwise, you know what will happen? I will have to stop looking at this fantastic website because my stress levels are almost off the scale!!!
Like everyone else I am horrified that Effie took her chance when she slipped her lead. We just don’t realise how long it takes for dogs to trust people. Having slipped her lead we would all hope she would have stuck with her people but nature is so much stronger than nurture and her instinct was to run when that opportunity presented itself. Her foster family must be very upset. I remeber when Wilbur did the same thing and he was found so I am sure with DID out searching, word going out to all it will only be a matter of time before someone catches up with her. If only we could explain to these dogs that they really are safe but instincts are very strong in a panic situation. I don’t envy anyone who finds themselves in this situation, not their fault. Life can be hard but I look foward to her safe return and we can all relax again. Effie, you are a little monkey!
Its good to see the DID Six at the top of page one (where they should be), they are great and I love reading about them.
Take care Wilbur and remember the eyes of DID will be forever upon you and there are many more of us right behind DID watching you too. So happy you have your very own family, be good now, make your foster people proud ![]()
