hpshebaMemberJack is doing great. His bark has broken but he very rarely uses it only if a stranger or cat passes by the window. He’s quickly learnt to go to the toilet out the back and is generally well behaved. He goes to bed when told and is great at fetch and giving the paw. He’s getting bigger every day and we keep speculating what he’s crossed with. We are interested in how his brothers and sister are getting on.
Hope you are doing well and enjoying the good weather. Thanks,
From Alan, Debbie and Jack.

Sorry for the delayed response… been a hectic week
Millie is incredible, we LOVE her. We met her on Monday and she instantly became part of our family. Charlie adores her and she adores him. They are inseparable and are like brother and sister. Its so lovely.
She is doing brilliantly with her toilet training. She has only had one accident in the house since we got her. She naturally wants to go outside and is getting lots of love and praise. She has master her "sits" she understands stay, knows her name, recall is very good and she is generally a joy.
She has also been going to daycare with Charlie, since Tuesday and they can’t believe how incredibly relaxed, content, playful and bonded with Charlie she is in just a few days. They are wowed by her. She is doing so well.
I’m at home with them both today and as I type this they are asleep together next to me on the couch. It’s wonderful I have attached a few pics and you can see how well she is doing. Please feel free to post these pics on your site if you would like and please pass this email and the pics onto Sarah who was fostering her as I do not have her email address.
Thank you for rescuing her and bringing her into our family we really feel blessed, she is wonderful.
Thanks again
KerriehpshebaMemberJust heard from Millie ( AKA Star) Mammy, she is settling in great….. Look how big she has gotten!!
hpshebaMemberNala is still coming around slowly. She is going to be assessed this week with the girls up in Dog Training Ireland who have kindly offered to let her sit in on their puppy socialisation class and see how she gets on. Her house training is very poor still and I am finding it difficult to sort it out as you cant lift her to bring her outside as she will just wet herself in fright, she is afraid of the sound of newspaper, puppy pads didnt work as the other ladies in the house thought they were toys and the crate system was a disaster.
We have started to introduce her to the outside world but again she is still very scared, so its a case on slowly goes it with walks and outside excursions.
On the brilliant positive side she is having a ball with the other dogs, playing and chasing. She loves when other dogs come to visit and gets straight in to have a good old bum sniff She is stunning looking and she is a pleasure to have around. Your heart breaks when she sneeks over to give your fingers a lick or when you wake up in the morning and she is snuggled up beside you in the bed.
On morning patrol with Sheba for those Magpies
Stop taking my photo!!!!
Chilling out with the baby of the house, her new very best friend Pixie.hpshebaMemberPixie got her vacinations and was micro chipped today. She has settled in great here and gets on brilliant with other dogs. She has no fear at all and will jump straight into a game of batter and flirt with the girls. She needs to go to a home with no small children as her bite inhibition is poor, though I am sure she will learn. Also as she is so very very small a young toddler may think she is a toy
Nalas new best friend!!!
hpshebaMemberHe is now living with a fantastic family in Lucan and being spoiled rotten If a dog is in the Happy Endings section they have been rehomed.
hpshebaMemberWhen I am good I am very very good and its usually when I am asleep
hpshebaMemberNala has come on in leaps and bounds in the last week. She is now eating on her own, from a bowl, will come into the kitchen with humans there and is loving playing around in the garden with the other dogs, though I know that she will miss little Mia, who went to her forever home tonight she who really brought her out of her shell.
Playing with Mia.
I am hoping that we are turning a corner with Nala. She is one of the most stunning looking pups that has ever stayed here. She has come over a few times and licked my hand this week and jumped up on the bed to say Good Morning. Finger crossed
hpshebaMemberWell this little girl has made her presense known in the first 24 hours. She may be small but she is well able to stand up for herself against the others.
She took the biggest bed in the house!!!
hpshebaMemberWell little and I mean little Pixie has landed here. She is tiny. Pictures below and I will let you know how she is getting on.
Just a normal can of coke to give you some idea of size
And just having a walk under the rad!
hpshebaMemberHi Folks, it’s all go here – I’m having a ball. It’s end to end activity in our house. My mam’s taking me to flyball on Wednesday nights. It’s brilliant – racing to the box to get the ball, then racing back, running away with the ball if i can get away with it!! Agility is great fun too – I competed in my first show in Athy last weekend – a bit scary but great fun. Mam tells me which way to go and I follow. I love the high jumps and the see saw and the tunnels, and I’m trying really hard not to get too impatient but it’s soooo much fun that I can’t contain myself. All my friends were there last weekend – Lily, my JRT best friend, Murph the Yorkie, Cosmo and Sasha the boxers, Molly & Polly the collies and Whippy the whippet. On the way home I was exhausted and just conked out in the back seat of the car. My next competition will be in Tymon Park on June 21 and I can’t wait!
My brother Cassius had an operation last week and has stitches in his tummy so he can’t go for walks for a week, so that means I get to go on my own with my Daddy every day to the park – happy days!! I love sniffing in the woods and when I discover rabbit holes I can put my head right down inside them and have a right old root around. There are some really dirty pools in the park and it’s great fun jumping into them but Daddy gets cross when I come out all dirty and smelly.
Here’s a photo of me in the Athy show. Mammy says I’m her little princess and it doesn’t matter if we get eliminated in the competition, once we have fun, that’s the main thing.
Bye for now, Ellie
