Met the gorgeous Jones yesterday in Maxi Zoo with Claire, wow he is a fine looking dog and really handsome, so much bigger and stronger looking than his photos would have you believe. What struck me in particular was how obedient he was, really well trained – well done Claire, you are doing an amazing job there! x
FionakzMemberHi Lynsey,
I’ve just laughed out loud at the pic of Annie having just destroyed your sitting room … Im surprised you didnt just drop her back at our front door and then run!!!! Lovely to see how well she has settled in, best wishes, Fiona x
FionakzMemberOur lovely little Wendy will be leaving us tomorrow, unfortunately she has’nt found her forever home yet but as we are starting building work in our house, Wendy will need to move on to her new foster family. We will miss her very much, she has taken a place in all our hearts and we hope some lucky family will fall in love with her as much as we did sooner rather than later.
FionakzMemberAt last I’ve put up a few pics of Wendy, isnt she gorgeous!!
We brought her this morning to be vaccinated and chipped, she was soooo good at the vets, she actually licked the vets face while the needle was going in, she really is just fab, a wonderful little girl. Afterwards we brought all 3 dogs to the beach (of course I forgot my camera!) but she loved it there, Im keeping her on the lead for now but she really is very well behaved when we’re out, and equally well behaved in the car.
Toilet training is getting there – we still have the occasional accident but she understands what she has to do and gets it right most of the time.
I know I’m repeating myself at this stage but this girl would fit into most types of home. Shes great with the children, loves playing with Daisy and most of all, loves to be up in her family’s arms getting her ears rubbed! While she gets on great with Daisy, I still feel that she’d be as happy in a home with no other dog, once she gets attention and cuddles, she’s happy.
FionakzMemberMore Wendy!

20121205_130652.jpgFionakzMemberWendy has been with us since Monday and is well settled in by now. She’s a fantastic little girl and will make a great family pet. She gets on great with our dogs, loves the kids (she’s so gentle with them) and continues to be one of the most affectionate little puppies to stay with us.
While Wendy gets on great with the other dogs in our house, I feel that her human company means more to her and so, while she would get on great in a house with other dogs, I think she would be just as happy in a home where she gets all the attention. Shes only little, and so she doesnt need a HUGE amount of exercise, just lots of love (and a few good meals!!)
I’ll get pics up over the next few days, having a few difficulties with my camera, I’ll get there!
FionakzMemberWendy arrived at our mad house yesterday evening (thanks Sandra for dropping her off). She really is a little dote. She’s only about 5 mths old but her face looks so much older, she has a really smart look in her eyes and a very settled manner. So far, I would have to say that Wendy is the biggest cuddler of a foster dog to have stayed with us so far. She’s like a baby! She wants to be in someones arms all the time and nuzzles her head right into the neck of who ever is holding her and would stay there for as long as she can! She slept in the kitchen last night, I wasnt really expecting to get a good sleep on night no. 1 but there wasnt a peep out of her until this morning when we came down about 7am for breakfast and she practically somersaulted through the air she was so excited to see us …. ahhhhh! Toilet training is going well, as usual my other dogs are doing the work for me in that department, and so far only 2 accidents .. not bad! I’ll post some pics and updates over the next few days as we get to know her better.
FionakzMemberAnnie met her lovely forever family on Friday evening and this morning she left us to start her new life. I know she will be very happy and well looked after. Best wishes, Fiona x
FionakzMemberLittle Annie continues to thrive. She really is a pleasure to have around, full of affection and mischief in equal doses, loves her cuddles, gives the paw, has just about mastered toilet training and basic commands … what a smart little girl. More pics to follow!

FionakzMemberLittle orphan Annie has been with us since Thursday (thanks to Clare for delivering her safely, it was great to meet you!). I have only good things to say about this little angel … she is just adorable. She is the image of Daisy who we adopted from DID earlier this year (I’ll post some pics of the pair of them later) and she’s very similar in temperament, they are getting on like a house on fire!
Annie is gentle, sweet natured, playful, loves the children in the house, loves Daisy, she is an all round dream dog in fact.
Toilet training is incredible, Im barely having to do anything, she seems to be learning from the other dogs. Since Thursday we have only had 3 accidents, surely thats some sort of record!
Its very hard to get pics of her as she is playing with Daisy non stop but I will do my best over the coming days to get a few more.
FionakzMemberChester left us on Monday for his new home. We only had him for 10 days but he’s left a big gap in our home, we just loved him. Daisy was particularly sad to see him go, she went to her bed and spent most of the day on her own (which NEVER happens), thankfully she seems to be back to her normal self now. Best wishes to Chester and his new family, I know they will be very happy together. x
