Definitely crazy ha ha Loves company and can’t sit still for a minute . Thinks she’s a rottie or a GSD and acts accordingly
fayresMemberGood luck to Nellabi today, as she has her stitches out. It’ll be great to have all that stuff out of the way. She can now concentrate on getting on with all exciting things that life has to offer a little girl like her
fayresMemberElsie came with us to agility on Saturday but was more interested in running around chasing the others than seriously thinking about jumping The lowest jumps still seem a little high for her compared to our teeny weeny ones at home. Never mind, we’ll keep practising . Ellie kept looking back to make sure she was ok, playing the big sister, bless her I have to say that Elsie was quite at home playing with the large Sheperds and Labs – she has no idea how small she really is
fayresMemberWell Liz now that you mention it Elsie came with us to agility yesterday – had a great time running around with the dogs, not quite able for the jumps yet though. Our jumps at home have been adjusted to teeny weeny height to suit her
fayresMemberfayresMemberWe had a great time today at the WTCI Agility show. I competed in 3 competitions and guess what? I won a rosette My friends Lilly, Mollie, Cosmo, Tante, Murph, Poppy, Shar and Katie won rosettes too. We had a great day – I’m relaxing by the fire now – Mam says I’m a great girl
fayresMemberWell done June and Jeff. Buster is an absolute credit to you – I’ve seen the hard work you do with all your dogs and what you’ve achieved is truly amazing.Buster is one supersmart and clever boy, able to open the back door to let the other dogs out for a pee and closing it when they’re all back in Able to walk up a ladder to get his ball – is there no end to this boy’s talents? What a great life you have given him – congratulations
fayresMemberElsie (Pixie)has been with us for 6 weeks now and it’s like she has always been here. She has settled into our routine and trots around with Cassius and Ellie wherever they go. She never ceases to amaze us with her energy, she seems to have a mad hour every night where she sprints around the house like a mad thing leaping up on the couch and jumping from chair to chair Her favourite toy is her ball on a rope, with a little bell inside the ball. She drags it up and down the stairs, jingling away, growling to herself as she flies along, daring the others to chase her for it and will play tug of war with Ellie who will drag her around the house, while she holds on for dear life, and will never let go She is afraid of NOTHING at all! I have lowered all Ellie’s agility jumps in the back garden and have started "training" Pixie to jump over them. She’ll happily jump over 3 jumps in a row, then Ellie catches up with her and it ends with them wrestling each other to the ground We’re working on the weave poles now- won’t be long before she picks that up- methinks we have a little agility champ here. Who knows where it will all end
fayresMemberShe is beautiful and a credit to you. Such a lovely glossy coat too She’s very like our Cassius, who is a Lab Springer cross, same shape face and head too. Well done, and may you have many happy years together
FidelmafayresMemberHi Daisy, Elsie is still in foster with us and is doing great. Although she is very tiny she is so lively she would not be suitable for a home with small children. She is used to rough and tumble with our dogs here and tends to puppy play bite quite a lot so I would definitely say that she would be better with older kids.
FidelmafayresMemberThat’s hilarious, and Nells sounds just like Elsie who was flying around after her op, just no stopping her Hopefully all will be well when Nells returns for her post op check up. These little girls seem to be very resilient
fayresMemberBest wishes to them both, Indianna and a speedy recovery to Nells. If she bounces back anything like Elsie, she’ll be flying in a day or so
fayresMemberYou should try John Ward’s indoor obedience classes in Malahide Estuary. http://www.dublindogtraining.com
No dog too small or too big, or too bold I would thoroughly recommend him (and so would Ellie )fayresMemberEverything went well yesterday when we went back to the vet for Elsie’s stitches to be removed. Thankfully we were alone in the waiting room, no fellow patients to terrorize She managed to Pee AND Poo in the waiting room, it’s the stress of it all, you understand The vet was really pleased with her, she now weighs in at a whopping 3.2kg, a huge step up from 2.45kg 10 days ago when she went in for surgery. She has really filled out nicely, loves playing with Ellie and Cassius and is a great little cuddler who loves to sit on your knee while you watch tv. A little slow with toilet training but is paper trained – just forgets to let us know when she needs to go out back for a pee sometimes Best of luck to Nells – her big day approaching. She’ll be fine, you’ll see.
fayresMemberFabulous photos It’s a real winter wonderland there. The doggies must think they’re in heaven
