I have recieved and update on Sweep now called Lenny and some pic’s last night..

Have attached some photos of Sweep, who we now call Lenny. He has settled in really well and as you can see form the photos he has grown alot. He is not one bit shy and has great fun with Izzy, at the end of the day they relax in front of the fire snuggled up together.
    All the best,
    Angela

Hi Jade no bother just email them to me anytime and i’ll stick them up…
As for the pulling on the lead if her is being strong there are a couple of options.. Trainning classes as i said to you they would be great for him and he would really benifit from as he is so clever…. You can also keep going with the treats but it might take a little longer for him to realise what he is doing every time he recieves his treat. YOu could also try a harness they would brilliant (with some dogs) but my Gsd can be very strong on the lead at time and i have tried everything with her and the only thing i found to work was a hali (it would go on his muzzle and attach to him colar but you use a second lead with it. But My Jessie is much bigger than Dexter so im nearly sure a Harness would work with him.. You can get both in most pet shops or vets. so read up on them and check them out..
    Good luck..

My beautiful Aurora has settled into the family so well. Its like she knew this was her home before we even did!! The kids just love her and she sleeps between there bed and mine.
She has even brought a spring back into my 5.5 yr old Gsd Jessie who now spends most of her tim rolling round the floor wreastling with Aurora and Daizy my springer.
She is going to the vets tomoro to get her second vax and i cant wait to get her out walking on the lead as she hates when i take the other 2 out and she is left at home..
I have also started clicker trainning her last week and that is coming on brilliant she is sooo clever. She now sits, stays, leave’s, lie’s down, and rolls over.. i have also trainned her with the "target stick" and she jumps to touch that lies down to it and spins around to change it…
She is just so eager to please her only down fall is she is addicted to people but thats coming on to and she doesnt howl and cry and bark as much when you leave the room as she use to…
At dinner time she also goes to bed when told and stay’s there despite Emily throwing food on the floor for the dogs she just sits and watches untill she gets the go ahead from me to get it….

Here are some pic’s of her.. One of her ears has just stood up yesterday :D :D so she is going round a little funny.. Im just hoping the other one goes up to… Were still trying to figure out what breed she is..

Asleep on my bed last night!

Well i recieved a lovely update on the beautiful Dee Dee now Heidi today and was brilliant to get an update on her as we all loved having her here she was such a sweetheart and i suppose Aurora reminds us of her too temp wise.. well here is what Sarah her mammy has to say!!

    Hi Catherine,

Attached are photos taken of Heidi over Christmas. She has settled in
extremly well and is getting loads of love and attention from everyone.
She is completly house trained, sleeps all night and even gets on with my
    two cats!

After a nervous start, she now gets on great with all the dogs in the
park, both the dogs and their owners love Heidi. The owners comment on
how well behaved she is (compared to their own dogs !).

She is an absolute joy to have in the house, and she gets me out walking
every day. I’m really looking forward to the summer when I can take her
    to the beach !.

There is also a fella in the back of the fairyhouse market that sells all the duvets and stuff and sells these for a fiver??? I have got loads of them and for the fiver they used to last a week and i binned as i didnt find they washed to well. ( not including thats why i keep replacing my washing machine   ) But i did invested in a water proof /bullet proof bed (made out of the same stuff the guards stab vest are made from) for the doggies for christmas in Equipet now i bought the large one and paid €100 for but its the longest bed thats has lasted in this house specially with the puppies that have been through in the last few weeks normally it ends up as a tug – of- war toy… So i know there pricey but i feel ther worth it , i would always end up replaceing beds ever other week at least…
