MemberCant believe Dougie has snuck on to page 2 again!!
All I can say really is if we didn’t have 3 dogs already Dougie would be a keeper… He is a perfect dog and only has a few requirements…
I think perhaps an older person who does not work
One other dog for company
No pesky cats
A country type homeWhat do we do… Keep him and give up fostering (We couldn’t manage 4 of our own dogs & foster!!) or keeping looking for a forever home for him??????

MemberCant believe Dougie is almost last on the list!! Time for some updates! Sorry for the lack of updates, I am just back to work from maternity leave, its much easier to update on my work computer as our laptop is waaaaaaaaaaaaay to slow!
What can I say about my dougielove, We have had him a while now so we know EXACTLY what type of home would suit him best.
I think perhaps an older person who does not work
One other dog for company
No pesky cats
A country type homeI think the above would be the main requirements for Dougie.
If you want the unconditional love of an amazing, laid back, beautiful, loyal pooch Dougie is the main for youcarlylong
MemberThats a perfect way to describe him Indianna! He really is the perfect gentleman. An absolute pet who just wants to be loved

MemberHi Everyone, Sorry for the delay in updating Dougies page. I had a little baby boy, RĂ³an, 5 weeks ago so have had my hands full
I have to say, Dougie is just a joy to have around. He just loves companionship & follows me EVERYWHERE… literally from the shed, to the washing line to the veg patch, he is constantly right by my side whether I want him there or not!
He would ideally love to go to a home with an older couple where there is someone around all day, he would also love to have a little playmate as he gets on great with the 3 dogs we have at the moment so would be ideal as a second dog.
He loves food and treats, he also loves scratches and cuddles. He can sit and give the paw and his recall is 100%. He is great on the lead and loves a good walk every day. Will upload some pix later today.

MemberWell Mike or "Lildog" (as we call him!) is getting on very well since "The Great Escape"
he seems to be a lot more settled, I think he might have realised on his little escapade that the grass isn’t always greener on the other side & maybe his foster home isn’t that bad after all!!!!
You are right Mutley, he certainly is one cheeky chappie absolutely brimming with personality. Blueindigo I am in awe of how this little fella made it back home…. seriously!!! He was spotted 2 miles from our house and we had only had him 5 days when he went on his little trip!!!!!! Luck? Intelligence? a bit of both me thinks!!!!
He has settled in very well anyway and is getting on great with our 2, he doesn’t pay them very much attention. He is pretty much an all rounder, I think he would suit a family with another dog or without, with kids or without…. Gave him a good grooming yesterday and to say he was LOVING it was an understatement… He was rolling onto his back and everything to ensure I did a good job! In fact, when I went to groom one of the others he came over and butted in to get some more attention!!!
Will take some more photos this evening & update

MemberWell this little man arrived on Saturday, Little man with lots of personality! So far so good, didn’t bat an eyelid at our other animals – hens, horses, pigs etc. Very friendly little fella, constantly wagging his bushy tail, very good on lead, Recall good- not great but good- once he learns his name Im sure it will be 100% as he loves to be around people. No food issues at all, quite happy for me to give him his dinner, take it away and give it back. Needs a little bit of tlc as I noticed some matting around his neck, once groomed this fella will be even MORE handsome, I don’t think we are going to have him too long!!!

MemberHi JedandEd
Thanks for asking about Dougie, He is doing just great and is 100%. He is such a pet…. and literally follows me around the place… He is so placid and laid back I think he would be perfect for a therapy dog! have attached some photos below.

MemberWell Dougie has settled in perfectly, we would hardly even notice he is here. He gets on great with our two bowseys and has no issues with chickens, pigs or horses
He is a complete pet and has lots of gentlemanly manners!
I think Dougs would be suitable for any type of home… with kids, without kids, a couple, single person. I feel he would fit in just about anywhere. He would also suit a home with other dogs / pets or a home without.
