Well Oscar has been with us for a few days now and he has settled in so easily, he seems to have been well cared for previously and is a confident ,calm, friendly young gent.

o3.jpgannieoMemberI had the pleasure of transporting this lovely young lady from the pound to Angela’s house. She was an absolute dream in the car, hoped in and straight to sleep and only popped her head up when we arrived at her new home. She is a lovely friendly girl, full of love and kisses, and ready to give cuddles even though we had only met. We stopped briefly at my house on the way to Angelas and she HOOVERED up her food, she was very skinny but no doubt is well on the way to solving that problem with Angela’s tlc

d103.jpgannieoMemberThis baby LOVES his walks and has no problem getting his paws wet .
d108.jpgannieoMemberOur adorable fosterpup continues to enjoy life, he love his walks especially if there are any sticks or water involved. He will chase after his foster brother Bran when he is fetching sticks, wrestle them from him and then run off into the forest for a big game of ‘catch me if you can’.He also loves the water -either the river or the sea and splashes happily in and out when he is playing, he is full of puppy fun but is quite happy to snuggle up and snooze with Bran when he gets home.

d111.jpgannieoMemberHi Elaine, he IS gorgeous, it’s really hard to capture just how cute he really is on camera because he usually sticks the ears up as soon as I try to photograph him so he ends up looking quite serious and older than the big, cuddly, soft, baby pup he actually is . He is being fostered by me in a suburban setting so I’m afraid he hasn’t met any sheep or cats either. He gets on great with his very active 1.5 year old foster brother, he is an absolute dote- very playful, affectionate and friendly. He has a lovely ‘open’ personality and I would think he would be quite easy to train (he is very food motivated) and would probably be submissive to a bossy cat. All DID dogs meet their new families before being adopted so it should be possible to gauge things a bit better then. If you are interested in meeting him please fill in an adoption application and someone will be in touch, good luck!
Duke 20.jpgannieoMemberDuke had the BEST fun this weekend at the beach! He is delighted that he has been allowed off lead in safe places for the last few weeks and he proved himself to be a salty sea dog when he hit Sandymount Strand when the tide was out. First he went racing and splashing around with his doggie foster brother Bran and then stopped suddenly for some intensive sniffing, followed by some serious digging and hey presto he is off down the beach with a large (dead) dogfish in his mouth chased by one set of 4 legs and two sets of 2 legs
Duke 17.jpgannieoMemberDuke gets on brilliantly with all the doggie friends he has met so far, here he is snuggling up with his best foster friend Bran. Their favorite games are tug of war and ‘I’ve won- now chase me around the house and see can you get it back!!!’
held.jpgannieoMemberDuke continues to brighten up our days with his happy face, full of affection and fun. He loves a nice bone to chew, but is also very happy with whatever socks and shoes he comes across . He also likes to bring ME for a walk by grabbing the belt of my dressing gown. He is a clever pup and has been learning new things every day. Toilet training has come on great and he has had no accidents for the last few days.
Handsome, clever, affectionate, cuddly and did I mention gorgeous, we are all just a bit in love with this very special big pup, here’s hoping he has a chance to bring some sparkle to a new forever home soon.

duke11.jpgannieoMemberYes he is just one big, cuddly, soft, adorable furball of a pup
annieoMemberThis happy little man continues to thrive and enjoy life. He has a lovely friendly and playful temperament, loves meeting new people, big and small and giving them his version of hugs and kisses . He has got sooo many complements when he is out walking which thankfully he doesn’t understand or he’d have a swollen head!

duke10.jpgannieoMemberDuke continues to be an absolute dote, he is so well behaved in the car, you can bring him anywhere. So far he has been to the seaside to test out his waterbaby webbed paws, to the forest and up the mountains and he loved them all even if he is still a bit mad on the lead and very fond of wrapping himself around things (myself included ). Toilet training is coming along with only the occasional accident and he has been all dry nights so far. He goes to his bed as good as gold and not a peep out of him all night and he is full of such bouncy enthusiasm in the morning that even the dark mornings seem a bit brighter!
