Senan, Fiadh & Shadow – kittens – 9 wks old

Two of three of these dog friendly kittens have been homed already, thanks in large part to the support of Dogs in Distress! (Long haired black and white female Fiadh is still looking for her forever home.)

It’s brilliant to have a kitten fostered in a home with cat friendly dogs (thanks to kitten fosterer Maria and four footed fosterers Curly and Mimi). The kittens loved the canine company and one of them, Shadow (now Lily) has gone into a home with DID dog Binks! See photos below of Lily with her new adopted brother and sister Binks and Missy. You can see how protectively Binks is looking Lily in one of the photos.

Fiadh – our last remaining kitten looking for a home is a stunning long haired female kitten. She loves a cuddle and her rubs, but is quiet by nature. We think she would be best suited to an adult home (or one with parents with teenagers). She loves canine company so I would love to see her going to a home with a gentle cat friendly dog or dogs.

Wonderful news! Fiadh’s fosterer Maria has decided to keep her forever. She says Fiadh has brought so much joy to her family, she can’t doesn’t want to say goodbye.

Fiadh, like Shadow, is now happy in a home with other cats and dogs. It’s lovely to see how well they get on together. Thanks to Maria for caring enough to take Fiadh, Shadow and Senan into fostercare – despite having a full house of rescued cats and dogs already – and for ultimately giving Fiadh a permanent home.
