Hi all,
I’m not really sure where to put this post, so moderators feel free to move/delete it. The Dog Breeding Legislation is due to be voted on Thursday July 8th and the Labour Party have said they are going to vote against it.
The DSPCA have put an appeal on their website asking people to contact their Labour TDs to ask them to vote for the bill. Here’s the . The photo on the page is quite graphic, so be warned, but illustrates the huge need for this bill to be passed.
Please consider emailing/phoning your local TDs to ask them not to vote against this really important legislation. The dogs don’t have a voice so we have to speak for them. I know everyone on this forum is a dog lover and hugely concerned about animal welfare.
Thanks,
Jenny.

Just e-mailed my local TD. If you feel strongly enough that this legislation should be passed please make your feelings known to your local Dail representative. Just click on the link – it will only take a few seconds but will make a huge difference to the lives of these dogs who have no voice – this is our chance to speak for them.
