We fostered Ruby over a week ago and she is just an absolute dote and very easy to spoil. She definately prefers women to men but after the second day she got use to my husband. At first it was hard as my dog was very jealous of her and even thou she is two she is still a puppy. Ruby loves to play and bury things like my daughters slipper sock.
Ruby is totally house trained and even barks at the door to get out. She is an amazing guard dog and brilliant with children, loves the attention they give her.
The lucky person who adopts Ruby will get a great companion and guard dog. She is very loyal and no bother at all never had to get up at the night to her apart from her first night which was only natural as it was all new to her. In the evenings she loves to sit on the couch beside us and our dog and have her tummy rubbed but is quite happy just to sit there too as she loves the company.

.
We have been fostering Ruby for awhile now and she is an amazing character. She gets very excited when she see children especially if they have a football, have to hide my childrens footballs from her.
She is an ideal pet as she is fully house trained, brilliant guard dog and very loveable. Ruby loves to sit on the couch beside you and loves affection.DSC_0047.JPG

.
What can I say that I haven’t said before, just surprised Ruby is still with us as we are getting very attached to her and my own dog seems to be slowly coming around to her. She is a lively and loveable dog with a great personality and such a character too. I am not allow talk on the phone when Ruby is around she starts whimping as she’s not getting the attention
I have to apologies that she is slightly spoilt, she loves her comfort and her cuddles on the couch.

Happy Ever After
From Ruby’s new family:
Ruby travelled well in the car for the hour journey north she slept most of the way. She was very inquisitive and nervous and went around the house inspecting her new home. She has settled very well in the first few hours. Now as I type she is sitting on my wife’s knee, so much for Ruby being my dog!!

Hi Folks, Just an update on Ruby.
We have had Ruby now for nearly 4 weeks. She has settled really well, much better than we could ever of imagined.
Her daily walks of at least 3 miles have her shattered at night no to mention the health benefits to us.
She really enjoys human company she will run around the house looking for us, and wants to be in the same room with us no matter what we are doing. She gets on really well with other dogs and has been a bit of a talking point as people have got to know that we got another dog.
Thanks to all at DID for your support and to her foster carer for her help and advice._MG_0416.JPG
2 months have passed since we got Ruby.
To ask if she has settled look at the photo below!!Ruby.JPG

Thanks to all involved.
