i gave shelly a bath last night, thought it would be a huge struggle but it wasnt she loved getting washed.her coat is now lovely an soft an smells good too :D .she is great for security in the house as she will bark if anyone knocks at the door, but as soon as i open it she comes over tail wagging looking for a cuddle.shes fantastic in the car, just sits on the seat an looks out the window.the benifit of having an older dog is,no chewing on the furniture, fully house trained, has all her basic training,no digging up my garden, very relaxed in the house, yet if u want to play with her she can out do many younger dogs running after a football an playing tug of war.she is so loving an just wants to please everyone who meets her.who ever gets to adopt her will be very lucky.

shelly is feeling much better today.eating her food fine an is now a bit more comfortable with my dog, they have an understanding an tolerate each other.i think shelly would be better off in a home with no other dogs as shes older an deserves all the attention to herself.she is so friendly to everyone she meets an has all ready started to walk better on the lead, all though shes 8 she truely doesnt behave like it as she can play with her toys an a football as good as any younger dog.shes perfect in the house an just lies on her bed or at my feet an falls asleep till she hears the lead an then she perks up an gets so excited about going for a walk.

thats true monty did come flying out the door an was very full on meeting shelly,i wasnt worried as i know my dog an he allways just wants dogs to play with him.all ready if hes to energetic with shelly she gives him a warning an he backs off, think shes allways been the only dog in her home an is now getting used to sharing the attention.they are both asleep at my feet right now so im sure after a couple of days she will be more relaxed an monty will know her bounderies.audrey let me know how u get on with your new foster dog.

shelly aka molly is now in foster with me.shes very nervous around my dog but most dogs are as hes big an can look intimidating.will just sit beside me an lavish all the attention an affection she is getting.shes fine around my kids too, when shes out on her walk she prances which is very cute.shes a very polite relaxed classy old lady.

Yes she loves playing football,my 13 year old son plays with her for hours.I have to say Jess has stolen my heart, she is only a six month old pup but yet no chewing of the furniture,no accidents,no crying,no play biting, and just loves to be near me.Loves affection an so good.Whoever gets to rehome her will be very lucky.

well jess is doing great.tested her with young kids an there wasnt a bother on her.shes so gentle, very loving an loves attention.let her off the lead for the first time last night to test her recall an she was great, came straight back every time i called her.she is just a pleasure to foster.

Jess slept all night not a sound out of her, also no accidents and went straight to the door this morning to let me know she needed to go out.Loves just playing for hours but will also just lay on her bed when she knows its time to relax.
I have my 5 year old nephew coming later so I am going to see how jess reacts around young kids.
