Kathy has already put up some great pics of Hope and the babies so we thought we would just put this one up which was snapped on the first day whilst Mammy popped out lol. Hope and the babies are doing really well
Hope had her babies last night – all TEN of them
The first 9 arrived between 17.15pm and 23.00pm. No idea when the last one popped out!!!
Mammy is doing fine as are all of the babies. 8 of them are a mixture of a beautiful chocolate colour/white. Only 2 of them look like Hope. Will pop some pictures up soon.
Well what can I say!!! Hope is an absolute angel. She was dirty, smelly and very nervous when she arrived but was soon tucking into a nice meal and curled up in a warm bed. When you first look at her she seems to be the right weight for her breed and age – then you remember that she is heavily pregnant
We are therefore working hard to build her up. At the moment she is tucking into pasta and fish. We took her for a walk this morning and she walks to heel on the lead. She had a good run on the beach this afternoon which she really enjoyed. Upon our return she had a lovely warm bath. She lay down on her side in the water so I am guessing she found it very relaxing. She smells lovely now
She now has all the things she needs. Plenty of food, exercise, a warm bed INSIDE the house and lots and lots of love and cuddles.
We are therefore working hard to build her up. At the moment she is tucking into pasta and fish.
