MemberAn update from Tobies aunty Elaine xxx
Just a quick note to let you know that Toby is doing great !It’s like he’s always been a part of the family, and he and my Dad have become as thick as thieves…you rarely find one without the other
He ALWAYS knows when Dad is coming to get him…..the lady who grooms him lives around the corner from Mum & Dads house, and just before Christmas she took him in so he would look his best for Santa, when Dad went around to collect him later that day he only turned the corner onto her road & Toby started barking (Dad could hear him outside !!)The groomer says he is as good as gold & never makes a sound until Dad comes up the road !!! It was the same when he was dropped off to the Vets for his op, not a squeak until Dad got out of his car in the carpark
He LOVES his pampering and he had a lovely haircut the day before these photos were taken, he knows he is a very handsome chap
Sorry its been so long since I’ve sent pic’s….he rarely stays still long enough to take them & I have dozens of photos of a white blur where he had been standing
Regards, Elaine

MemberA big thanks to Conor who gave this girlie B&B until we could take her.
And she arrived this morning and straight away you can tell she is a sweet little thing. She has really taken to the kids she actively looks to play with the kids and interact even just after a few minutes with us. And she is so good with the other dogs, she took coming into a 3 dog household in her stride and as i type they are out in the garden playing having a blast.
It is hard to get a photo as she is enjoying herself so much, i have quite a few blurry action shots!!
But i had to get some up to show just how pretty she is.
Her eyes are just stunning and her coat is an amazing colour and so soft.P1040574.JPG

MemberI was talking to Cassies family today and i can tell she is a much loved girl. She has a choice of laps every night and she is coming on in leaps and bounds.
This little girl is a credit to her family and she is a true testament to what a loving family can do for a doggie.Photo0005.jpg

I can’t tell you how happy Bella and I are. I know I said initially that she’d be allowed anywhere but in my room but she now sleeps on/in the bed with me and I’ve woken up many mornings with her paws wrapped around my neck. She is Soooooo funny. She lives to learn tricks and has ridiculous amounts of energy and hates being ignored. She is great on a lead and such a clown.

MemberBen has been getting on brilliantly. He has quickly become a loved and loving member of the family. The cats (all rescues) have all taken to him. He sleeps on Frank, our ginger long hair, and occasionally you’ll look out the back to see Ben being chased in circles around the garden. Then, when he feels brave he’ll turn and chase Frank until Frank gets bored/crafty and runs up the tree/fence to get away. He also likes to sneak up on Leo (tabby cat pictured sharing the box with Ben) and hold him down. I think Leo likes the attention from him because he doesnt run. Belle (the master of the house) will play with Ben from a height. She is brave when on a chair or a table, but will run like the wind if she is on the floor and Ben comes bounding in.
He enjoys 4-5 days a month over at the grandparents with Penny and their 2 dogs and inevitably the neighbours old boy too (black lab? pictured being chased by Ben). He gets to go for plenty of walks up the canal with all the dogs a few times and week and the rest of the time with just Penny. He has not yet braved the water. But he chases penny up and down the canal and barks his head off when she jumps in after sticks. He has had a couple of accidents where he didnt see the path disappear and the canal begin but he quickly jumps out again and gets a enormous boost of energy and starts running up and down like he is possessed and jumping up as if to say "run with me".
Penny and himself will not sleep in separate beds. They will both lie in the one and more often than not penny ends up half on the floor. We are thinking of getting one big bed for them. Might be the best as we can give the 2 we have to Jens parents to replace the 2 that Ben had a good chew on.
All in all he has not been too mischievous. He has lots of toys to sink his teeth into. He did find his way into my green house and destroy approx 200eur worth of fruit trees. But its not the end of the world. He had fun. Thats the main thing right. Anyway, he had help from Penny I am sure. The pair of them are inseparable. He will not leave her alone. Constantly wanting her to play. If she is fed up an walks away and I start to play with him, she gets jealous and is straight back in wanting to play. If she does walk away though, he’ll go on a little adventure around the garden and come back in after a few minutes and lie in bed with her.
He is getting big now. In the past week we have noticed a growth spurt. He has gotten taller and more muscles. He is an agile little chap. He can hop onto the couch with no effort at all. We try to be fair and keep the two of them off the couch. But inevitably we end up with a 1/3 of the couch while the 2 of them stretch out on the the rest.
And 9 times out of 10, at least 2 of the cats will be asleep on the couch too.
To wrap things up, Ben is getting on superbly. He is getting big and strong and also strong minded. He is a tyke when he wants to be but most of the time he is very well behaved. He has already

MemberAttached are some photos of Jessy, we love her to bits! As you can see she is very social and accepts other dogs into her space without any problems. Here she is playing with the rotty mix of our friends and at work we have 2 other people who bring their dogs with them as well and she loves playing with them, but we have to keep an eye on her because she can get over exited and we work with people with special needs and do not want her to run them over, but she is wonderful with them!!
She has learned so much in the last six months, she is a clever little girl. She loves fooling around with our cats as well, but when we brought her home the first time, it was like a warzone in the house
