MemberMissy is well and happy ! She is doing very well here . She has been very good for us but still is very much a pup and has to be watched carefully as she does the puppy things like running off with whatever is available ! She loves us talking to her and listens intently to whatever we say. She is very clingy but so young and its only to be expected . She is sleeping through the night now which is great . She has a lot of energy and often wears herself out trying to keep up with the dogs and then she will fight to stay awake rather than sleep Missy does not like being left at all and will be very vocal if I even go upstairs but she is very young . She has bags of personality and is a lot of fun but energy is needed to keep up with her. Maybe as she grows she will slow down a little . She has had very short walks, just outside here but we find she gets cold very easily, not much weight on her at all. Sunday we kitted her out with a legwarmer and she was warmer but she doesn’t go far yet . She is fairly ok on the lead but needs to be taken out regularly to get her used to walking, she does tend to dodge around but early days yet.A lovely little dog who just needs a safe loving home.

Missy is with us just 3 days now. She is a tiny little female, probably the smallest we have fostered. She is 10 weeks old . She is very friendly, gets on well with our two dogs and also no problems with our cat, the cat is bigger than her but she pays no attention to Minnie. She has a lot of energy but has started to sleep during the day now after the initial excitement of arriving. When she first arrived she went straight to the paper at the back door so she must have had some training, she has also done this since. She is a happy little dog and enjoys meeting people. Will update soon when she has been here a little longer.017.JPG

MemberGood luck to little Coco we miss her already ! The little dog she is with looks lovely too. Coco looks like she is settling in already but she loves everyone , that’s the way she is .

MemberCoco is a gentle little soul she has been good as gold for us . She eats well, sleeps well and for a dog so young seems to be very trainable . She is very affectionate and even on our walks she loves meeting people and will stand and watch them walk away also . Anyone who has met her has been very taken with her. She does also seem to want to meet other dogs too . She is very much a lap dog and never happier than when she sits up on your lap and waits for the moment when she can.
She met our elderly cat today face to face , not much of a reaction but Minnie is getting very old now and can be a bit grumpy so we picked Coco up almost immediately as cats scratch and Min can do this. She really needs to be walked a often as possible, at least once a day and this not only gives her an interest but also an outlet for her energy. She is not hyper but has bursts of energy but it doesn’t last long . She is a bit zig zaggy on the lead so we put her on a harness but she gets so excited when she goes out and at first was just bunny hopping along very quickly but seems to have pulled back a little now, its just a case of bringing her out daily so she is more used to walking but she loves going out .She tries to chase the crows and the ducks, fascinated with them !
I think she would be good in a home with children she has met some and seems to be good with them, she is not scratchy like some pups and even when she is given a treat doesn’t snatch it just gently takes it from you .We have noticed sometimes when she goes to sleep she cross’s her paws too ! She is a pleasure to look after and although just a pup she is very well behaved .

MemberThis little girl is only with us a few days now but already she has settled in very well . She is very passive and friendly and loves meeting people on her walks . She is house trained , only one accident so far and this was after 2 hours here , I guess the excitement didn’t help. She gets on well with our two dogs especially our jrt, she has seen the cat but just is a bit curious , no reaction yet anyway. I will update soon when I know her better but so far she seems to be a great dog and I think that we may have’ problems’ letting go of her !

MemberGreat to see Buster again ! Such a beautiful dog.It seems ages since he was here and we often wondered how much he would grow because sometimes when you go back and look at them the difference can be quite amazing but Buster looks the same ! A happy dog !

MemberWilson is doing fine here ! Yesterday he went out n his first walk to the local park with our two dogs, we had to slow down a little as he only has tiny legs and was trying to keep up, bunny hopping along ! He was good with other dogs we met along the way Also he went towards people we met , wagging his tail like mad . He slept then when we arrived home but we just did a 20 min. walk as it was his first and the ground was also very damp.He cuddles up to Max during the day and sleeps quite often, still bursts of energy, lively , loves to play , a real little pup ! He is not fully house trained yet but he does stand at the back door now when he needs to go out, he is learning and we have had few’ accidents’ with him. Loves his food , also his treats. Loves the tv ! He turns his little head from side to side as he watches . He is fascinated by our cat and they have been together on the floor but no problems . He is in a routine now and for such a young pup he is very good.

MemberThis little girl is bright, lively and full of fun . She loves our two dogs and is pretty good with the cat , when they do come face to face she will just have a good look and then go on her way . I think she probably prefers Max as he is just a big soft teddy , she loves his hair and snuggles up to him . She is partly toilet trained but we are working on this , when she does get this right she gets a round of applause and she loves this, the little tail wagging like mad ! She has met some of the neighbours and everyone loves her . She is quite small and fits in the crook of my arm , very light too . She is eating very well and loves her treats too She does like to know someone is around all the time, even at night time then she will sleep well. We bought a new crate for her but Max has taken this over during the day ,and as often as he can ! We have had one child here and she was good with him. I am sure she will make a great family pet. She loves any attention and is constantly looking for it too , and she gets it ! She is a real little baby with a great spirit. She must be growing a little as when she first arrived she could not make it up the stairs, yesterday I went up and looked around and she was behind me ! No more climbing ! She looks so tiny on the stairs must have been a big adventure for her .Will keep you updated on her progress.

MemberJust looking at her eyes she looks as though she needs care to give her confidence , a dogs eyes have a language all of their own . I am sure with your care she will soon get up to her correct weight and be much more relaxed . We had a little dog like this one here last year but she came on very well and was re homed after a few weeks but she was a pleasure to look after , timid at first , very timid, but the dogs here also helped her to come out of herself.
