Hello every one. Alls good our end. Just a photo from the birthday girl 2 weeks ago. Thanks to the girls at DID at Raheny rose festival for penny’s birthday cake went down a treat as you will see in photo .. … Lovely to meet you all and happy I was able to bring penny to meet some of you. she’s a bit nervous still of ppl and things around her as some of you seen but we are getting there. She’s not a fan of been on the lead so we didn’t hang round to long. Some news we are thinking and I am looking for a little friend for her so paws crossed we will find the right little one for her. It’s early days yet.

Hi all just a quick hello from penny she’s doing great head is still tilted at times but that doesn’t stop her she’s still the crazy penny before it all happened..only thing we have to watch with her now is other dogs she gets a little aggressive if they come up to her all of a sudden from the right hand side that is her bad side she doesn’t see them coming cause her head is tilted an it frightens her so we have to work on her . She turns 2 next month so will be celebrating in style ..

Hey there thanks for all the messages. After I posted here last Monday 21st we got a phone call to say penny was standing an taking a few steps and that we would be able to bring her home Tuesday .. Tuesday came and when I got there to my surprise penny was actually walking I was totally shocked but trilled for her she was delighted with herself and seen me.. Her head is still tilted to the right it may or may not come back but with plenty of care exercise and massaging her neck and head it should help she’s not her bouncy crazy self at the mo but signs are defiantly showing her personality is still there and she still bums she is starting to show the teeth when excited to see someone come also knows where to sit when getting lead on an try’s to play ball but we are a bit wobbly when we run to much we may fall over her world is a bit sideways at the mo .. What we believe penny has is an idiopathic nerve it’s from the brain down to the ear and it’s causing her balance to be affected as in she is weaker on her right side but like I said it’s getting stronger. The staff wer amazing in UCD we can’t thank them enough for nursing penny bk to health. She is a week home now doin great every day we had a bath out in that lovely sunshine today. Thanks to all for ur texts & calls lots of love penny and sue.

Hi all … What a week we have had our penny has been trough the mill. We thought she took a turn last Sunday well we didn’t know what was going on she couldn’t stand and her head was turned one way.. She’s been to glasnevin vets Sunday they sent her on to UCD where she has been through the mill scans bloods MRIs and fluid from the spine. They all came back ok. She is unable to stand and is on a drip and is sedated we went to see her Wednesday an my god she would melt your heart.. A wag of the tail and a big cry from her… Please keep penny in your prayers and please god she gets bk to her cheeky little self.. It’s been a very emotional and stressful week for us all..

Hi all just a little update on Penny she turned the big one in july and we had a little party for her. Penny is such a funny & cheeky little dog she gets away with soooo much .When i come home from work at 6pm she follows me everywhere knowing we are going to the beach cries like a baby till we go (this is every day) and she has made so many friends down there plus the humans all know penny. The best thing is the showing of the Teeth its just a classic …

Hi all. just a few updates on penny. well shes 11 months old now so shes the big one next month… she is such a funny dog when she sneaks in to the sitting room or up stairs if you ask her What are you doing in here she smiles at us its jus to funny its as if to say if I smile they will let me stay in (and we do) she has a new hobby an that’s finding golf balls also bringing sticks home no matter how big they are:o hope you enjoy the pictures

Lol Thats actually a sock she loves to rob them she made a hole in it wagon so i gave in and gave it to her. second picture she ripped the sponge out of her cushion Shes a pet really.

Hi everyone. Myself & Penny met a lovely little DID doggie on monday down at sutton burrow beach her name is Jessie (DID name was Timara) and what a lovely dog she is,The two of them ran round together non stop for 20 mins We met again yesterday evening same as usual chased each other and swapped balls well Penny likes to rob other dogs balls and not give back Im putting up a picture of them both. hope you like it…

Hi Everyone. Penny is jus a month after her op We now can let her off the lead and she goes crazy like one of them dogs at the races after a rabit . shes one hyper girl when let off the lead and loves to meet other dogs as crazy as herself.

Hi all just a little update on penny What can i say other than she is blossmoming into a lovely little lady she is that tall jack our cat can walk under her We have been working very hard to train her to Sit,stay & drop the ball (works most times) I bought her one of those sticks with the ball at the end (great for Throwing) an she loves it mind you we need to have 2 or 3 balls as she is not always keen on giving it back untill she sees me with another one ready to fling. This little lady can be a bit naughty in a puppy kind of way she loves the Brown bin you recycle your food in well one day we came home there was onion skins potato skins tissue orange all over the floor and your woman sittin in her bed head down eyes rolled up lookin at us as if to say Wasnt me it was the cat we love her though and we now call it her snack box.. Pennys favourite Place is the beach she goes crazy digs holes barks an trys eating the sand I cant wait for the day i can let her off the lead an have a good run but it will have to wait till a few weeks after her Op which is happening this thursday so paws crossed all goes well.. few pictures to follow hope you all like them

Hi all. Just a little note to let you all know penny is getting on great Loves loves loves to go for her walks now She visited Molly (DID) in her home in baldoyle few evenings ago lets just say she made her self at home she was so so happy you could really see it in her. Penny had her first visit a few days back to the beach she went up to the water a wave came up lets jus say she was not impressed didnt know what to make of it . Herself and jack the cat get on great now best buds here are a few pictures of her
