THanks for the response – we did meet 2 puppies but I wasn’t convinced that Missy would be happy with the other puppies as a forever friend – she had different reactions to both. I just want to be completely sure that I have found the right companion for her because the last thing I want to do is have to return a dog if things don’t work out.

Thanks for sharing your experiences – it’s kinda what I would expect I guess – but the initial good feeling has to be there too and I just didnlt get enough of that to make a decision.

We’re having a think about it again and taking our time to make sure we do the right thing.
