That is so sad. I have been following Wogans story with Esme and the girls. He had a great time from the time he went to stay with Esme. You must be all heartbroken. My thoughts are with you. X

Oh ! I am so sorry to hear about Betsy. She was such a little sweetie. I drove her from Dublin to you for foster – and I nearly ran away with her on the way. :?

    Sleep well little girl. X

Poor little baby. It must have been a truely awful week for her – and for you Audrey.

I hope now that she is home with you and getting lots of love and cuddles that she will be able to relax and realise that all is ok now.

We’re still on the heaven stormin mission ! :( :)

Delighted to hear there is some improvement with Velvet – told you she was a fighter !

Have been scared to read the posts in case of bad news – I honestly don’t know how you cope Audrey. You are brilliant!

    Love to Velvet. X

    Audrey,

Velvet is a little fighter – she’s not going anywhere.

I have fingers and toes crossed, Missy has paws crossed, and Paws(the cat) has her paws crossed too.

Stay strong Audrey. We’re all praying like mad.

That is so frustrating. I really feel for you especially as you cant even visit. Poor little Velvet must be so anxious too as she doesn’t have a clue whats going on! :( :x

Well done Audrey. Velvet really fell on her paws when she went into foster with you.

I’m sorry I couldnt make it to Velvets party – work has a habit of getting in the way of more interesting things !!! :(

    Fingers cross for Velvet. X

Wow ! She really scrubbed up well. A little beauty.

I picked her up from Meath yesterday and I had a feeling under all the grime from the pound that she would turn out to be a little stunner. You did a great job Martina.

She ‘eventually’ sat happily in the car beside me yesterday – but insisted on sitting in the Passenger seat beside me – no back seats for Nina !!! She looks like she is used to travelling in a car – was very keen to stick her nose out through the window and breathe the fresh air.

She is so cute. Gave me the paw several times when I spoke to her and when the car was stopped at traffic lights.

She’ll be a great addition to any family I think.

    Good luck little girly! :D

    Hi Marie

Thanks for your reply and offer. :)

I don’t think the problem was with the puppy classes which were at the local vets – I think its just that she hasn’t had the opportunity to practice what she learnt there. I don’t have any friends with doggies unfortunatley – so we dont have much of an opportunity to have play time with other dogs.

But I might just take you up on your offer if you don’t mind. :)

I’m also looking at other socialisation options too like doggie day care – although that may not be a runner given the location.

    Thanks again,

    Estelle
