Hallie is recovering from her operation to get neutered yesterday
shes taking a rest , but is doing fine, just getting over the whole experience
She spent a while relaxing in lindas house yesterday . linda informed me she got along really well with her son and didn’t cause any havoc with her other dogs! Thanks again linda for everything youv’e done for herI shall update in the next day or so when the beauty queen is back to her ole self!
SabbathmcMemberHallie is a sweetheart with lots of love to give. She has become very playful lately signifying that she has come out of her shell She frolics and leaps around when she gets hyper yet in a gentle way, without wrecking the house .
She loves playing with her little christmas teddy
She gives lots of kissies when you hug her and jumps at any opportunity to sleep all cuddled up next to you on the couch.
I can’t praise this girl enough!

DSC05999.JPGSabbathmcMemberBrought hallie on a walk with a friends dog today.
She didn’t mind at all. She didn’t interact with him much but allowed him to sniff her and vice versa! I’d say she’d get along with any type of dog , big or small! She was looking for attention off most people who passed by her and let an elderly lady give her a pat, while of course-wagging her tail.
Anyone who’d come and meet her would fall in love instantaneously .
Shes loving towards everyone and Is always content!
Shes an amazing girl inside and outShe is still curling up in a scrunched up ball when lying down… I’m not sure if that will change, maybe she finds it comfy?
Heres some pics taken of her today

DSC05985.JPGSabbathmcMemberHallie was brought on her first official adventure around the area today
she thoroughly enjoyed her walk.
She took her time taking in all the new sights and smells!
She behaved very well on the lead, shes a absolute pleasure to bring out on a walk.
She met another handsome dog on her travels and didn’t snap bark or go to attack him, she appreciated his acknowledgement in herShe didn’t take much notice in passers by- she was too distracted by her new environment.
She doesn’t pull on the lead and walks graciously. She does stroll A little bit in the distance but she stays close by and hurries on when called.
Shes a very brave girl and has no issues introducing herself to any new comer in the house, She doesn’t nip or bite. Shes extremely warmhearted and mellowShes very lively and is always seen moving her tail in continuous motion! She also adores playing with two teddy’s I gave her. She delights in fun yet in a gentle fashion.
More pictures to follow soon.
SabbathmcMemberHallie was brought to the groomers today (thanks again Linda!)
I was told she was being admired by everyone in the place.
She looks so glamorous now and hopefully feels better after having to carry such a matted coat on her for god knows how long.Shes always in a great mood, shes a positive little dote.
She is still showing signs of anguish though and still curls up in a ball like shape whenever she sits/lies down…
It’s assumed she had to be in this position out in the cold to try keep herself warm.
Hopefully she’ll realize theres more room for her and sprawl out comfortablyHere are Some pics of the "new" hallie.

SabbathmcMemberBet you didn’t think that you would have a new fur kid that quick. And what a beauty Hallie is…..glad she is snoring just shows how much she feels at home with you already.
But thats the sad realilty of life at the moment…..but for those lucky four legged friends to fall into the care of D.I.D they are guaranteed a happy christmas.
Haha
I don’t mind at all! I love fostering animals, it’s so rewarding something every fosterer would agree with I’m sure
So happy that I got the opportunity to take her in, Shes
such a beautiful girl inside and out.She just left the room wagging her tail, still lowered but wagging
following my partner outside to go to the toilet
It’s upsetting seeing her in bad shape… once she gets groomed she’ll feel and look Like a princess!
SabbathmcMemberHallie is doing good, considering the day the poor girl has had. Shes Now safe and warm and all loved up!
She has no problem with people at all, wagging her tail when anyone comes over to give her a cuddle.
She is in bad state and depressed but her wounds will heal in time.
Her coat is quite badly matted and in bad condition.shes all snuggled up in a fleece blanket and was even snoring for a little while
A very very gentle little girl, with a heart of gold.
Trying to take pictures of her ,but she feels intimidated by the camera atm. Will upload and update as soon as she feels comfortable and content to have her photo taken
Shes a stunning, brave and alluring girl.
A gentle beautyHeres a picture or two just to let everyone know that shes safe and okay now

forgot to put this up!
He loves playing in it.. with my cat dash
DSC05158.JPGSabbathmcMemberThe little guy has no idea his new family is coming to collect him today
I have so many fond memories of him , hes been such a pleasure to have in my home . Hes going to miss us for a while and well miss him even more I’m sure, we’ve grown attached to eachother! So pleased he found his forever home, he deserves a great life free from abuse and neglect and full of love and appreciation!! And hes got that now..Thank you so much for all the work kathy and all the other volunteers have done, you saved yet another doggy from pain and isolation and have given him a second chance at life, a life which will from now on until the end , be filled with sunshine
SabbathmcMemberHe couldn’t have found a better family to live forever with!!
so proud and happy for the little guy
he’ll be spoiled rotten I’m sureSabbathmcMembercian has become a very particular little guy…
I’m trying my best to train him when were out on a walk.
hes determined to go his route or no route, but with a lot of encouragement and running with him, he will walk/run in the direction you want, or need him too in the snow!
Lately with some random people who venture into the house once in a blue moon, hes been very protective …. barking and sometimes nipping at them.. but also jumping up onto their lap and giving kissies..
I’m not fully sure why he does this, as he is generally a very gentle guy.. he will be really loving and affectionate with these people once he gets to know them and realize their not a threat!
It’s hard to know when he’ll act like this… thankfully he only does it on occasions
I’f you are interested in him please note that it may take him some time to get used to you and open up his heart to your love!
So it’s important to be aware of that before considering applying for adoption.I’m waiting for the camera to upload beautiful pictures of him out in the snow! should be up by tomorrow.
Thanks for taking the time to read cians board
SabbathmcMemberHe’s all healthy and happy! he’s getting too used to this house , the poor little guy is really eager to find his forever home but whats to be will be Hopefully a lovely person or family will come along soon and promise to love him and care for him- something he’s only getting used to now at 4 years of age.
Everyone adores him to bits here!
He’s become very clever now . When he wants you to bring him on a walk he gets his harness in his mouth and follows you around with it!
It’s so so adorable but heartbreaking when he does it when you’re busy!I’ll post some new pictures up of him soon.
He just got a lovely bath, his coat is all fluffy shiny and puffy!SabbathmcMember:D[/quote:iyh0n8we]
Hi Tinao
Yes Cian gets along really well with other little dogs as Kathy said.
The last woman who came to visit Cian had a little Yorkie too and they got along like brother and sister!SabbathmcMemberawh, he’d look fab in a cute little tartan coat !
He loves x -factor how did you know
It seems that people are being put off by his cough, which is only at him when hes on a walk… I just hope people realize that He doesn’t need any treatment for it , it doesn’t bother him -and it shouldn’t bother the person walking him either! Your too distracted by his cuteness and love of being out and about to take any heed
hopefully someone will realise that, visit the sweetie and take him back to their loving home forever .
