I only managed to drop by for a little while (with no dogs in tow) but it looked like a brilliant day and a great turnout…and I got to say hello to some gorgeous doggies. Would love to have stayed longer.
Well done to all involved…
RoverdilMemberLittle Lilly looks like such a dote…is she as small as she looks?
Do you know how she is with other dogs and with cats?
RoverdilMemberAwh…so glad Alfie finally found his forever home…best of luck to him..he was such a sweetie…
RoverdilMemberPeata also do this where you can go into hospitals/nursing homes etc with your dog so that patients who maybe are missing their own dogs can spend some time with them. I did this with my dog before (he was a lovely calm and sweet bichon frise). You have to pass an assessment with them to make sure the dog is calm and that you can control them. I used to go to an alzheimers centre with my guy and I have to say it was the most rewarding experience. The patients loved it and you could see the effect it had on them and the dog loved it too because he was getting loads of attention.
I would definitely do it again if I had a nice calm dog (my one now would just terrorise them ).
Well done on planning to do it with Fraizer…hope it works outRoverdilMemberoh…I met her too at daycare… on Tuesday..didn’t realise it was this Millie Moo…she was sooo cute and had bonded so well with her little brother who was with her at daycare…cutest thing to see them together
RoverdilMemberHad this little guy for an hour on Friday and wanted to run away with him he was so cute….he wanted to investigate everything (particularly under the car seat ) then have cuddles and then a snooze and then start again with the investigations…..
He is a great little guy..
RoverdilMemberSo sorry to hear this…RIP Kelly
My thoughts are with you at this time…it must be very sad for youRoverdilMemberI met this little guy yesterday and he totally stole my heart. He is a dote. Very cute and playful with a cheeky little personality. Would have run away with him given half the chance. Anyone who gets to take Alfie home will be very lucky and guaranteed lots of fun, licks and entertainment. Best of luck to him and I hope he gets a really good forever home very soon. Look forward to hearing how he gets on!!!
RoverdilMemberDid this little guy not find a home, I thought he had one sorted?
I had wanted to take him but while I passed the homecheck my circumstances were not right for what he needs. Sad to see he is still waiting for his forever home, I hope he gets one very soon. -
