RoverdilMember
so sorry to hear this…
RIP little guy…
RoverdilMemberLola has been with me for just over a week now and really is the sweetest little girl. She is quite timid with new people or situations but she has been improving all the time and is getting better and better when she meets strangers and getting used to new people in much less time. She has settled into the house like she has always been here and loves her new big brother Toby although she is not sure yet about the cat and is a little bit scared of her but is also quite curious so I think they will be fine in time. She has also become so playful and puppyish which is great to see and she is full of fun (although her new habit of jumping up on the kitchen table is one I am not so sure about ). She really is the most affectionate and happy little dog and just loves her cuddles and attention. Lola went to doggy daycare yesterday for the first time with Toby and got on great there, sleeping all evening after her day of fun. Some photo’s of her are below.
Her First Day
Out walking with Toby
Relaxing in her lovely new bed from the Wagging Tail although she is also partial to a snooze on the sofa beside Toby
Thanks to everyone in DID for allowing me to adopt this lovely little angel…and to Lola’s lovely fosterers who looked after her so well
RoverdilMemberThat is just wonderful news…she sounds like she is making great progress…I just can’t imagine the sad sick little girl I saw just over a week ago being able to do all that. Well done Laura and Lucy…
RoverdilMemberI met this little man yesterday too…what a character…he is one cheeky chappy and I think he thinks he owns the shop rather than just being security
He is a gorgeous little man, full of energy and fun and his name suits him down to the ground…he is a little Prince
RoverdilMemberI saw this little angel yesterday and could not believe how tiny she really was…the poor pet…she couldn’t be in better hands though. Laura, she is a very lucky girl to have you looking after her, it’s not an easy job to care for such a fragile and sick little dog so fair play to you for everything you are doing for her and hopefully the new medication will give her the boost she needs to get the extra weight on her. Take care little Lucy, fingers and toes (and paws) are still crossed for you here.
RoverdilMemberLaura, well done on looking after this little girl so well. I went through that with my little guy when his liver gave out and the trying to feed them when they cant stomach it but are so thin is just heartbreaking. The relief when you manage to get those couple of syrnges full of food into them is something else. Lucy is a lucky girl to be with you and to be getting such great care. Give her a big cuddle from me.
RoverdilMemberAh..that is so heartwarming to read…well done on bringing her so far and helping her find a lovely forever home. Best of luck Kuma
RoverdilMemberPoor Lucy…at least while she is in foster she will get the chance to be pampered and looked after and hopefully the meds and food will make a big difference. I shall continue to keep everything crossed for this little girl.
RoverdilMemberAh..she is gorgeous and looks very happy with you…
RoverdilMemberAwh the little sweetheart looks so lovely in her red jumper. I have been thinking of her all day and checking in to see if there is any update. Best of luck sweet Lucy..you are in the best of hands.
RoverdilMemberPoor little Lucy…I hope she is ok and that everything goes well for her I will be thinking of her tomorrow and I have all fingers and toes crossed for her. Keep well little Lucy
RoverdilMemberAwh…I am in tears just reading this…so sorry to hear it.
RIP Henry…run free at the bridge little man
RoverdilMemberI might be able to take her…I will have my dog (5year old Pom Cross) and also my sisters 1year old springer spaniel over the weekend too so if that is ok…she could join in…one thing though, I will be out on the Saturday night for a few hours so not sure if she will be ok to be left? If so let me know.
RoverdilMemberawh…have to say I’m a bit sad as I was hoping to meet her too..but I am very happy for you and Lilly. It was very obvious that you were totally mad about her and sounds like it was mutual…best of luck to you both…sounds like she landed on her feet when she went into foster with you.
RoverdilMemberI met the lovely Cleo in equipet at the weekend and she was wonderful..a very sweet, friendly and relaxed girl (with a bit of a cheeky streak in her too).
If I only had the room for a bigger dog she would have been coming home with me
