Inky has come out of his shell now and is proving to be a lovely little man. He is very playful and loving. He loves snuggling up for a while and having his belly, neck and ears rubbed . He’s ecstatically happy when I come home, he greets me with lots of kisses and ultra waggy tail.
The difference in his appearance now he’s been groomed is amazing. He looks like a different dog with all the nasty matts gone. I’ve been brushing him, which he puts up with for a while and then tries to play with the brush
More soon…
RachelAMemberInky got an awesome haircut today, a big thank you to Cathy and Jetta!
He is so much happier, he must have been very sore under all that matted fur. And now we can see his pretty face and giant eyes!

IMG_0512.JPGRachelAMemberSo glad Fernando/Baily has settled so well and has a small doggy friend. He is a very lucky little dog after such a rough start in life.
Merry Chrimbo to you all!
RachelAMemberThe two of them are very lucky to have such a loving new family. They look so dashing in their winter coats too, out enjoying the snow I wish I could upload the pic from my phone.
Happy Christmas to all of you!
mucho love, R&B& Inky our new foster doggy, may he find such a good home as Toto!
RachelAMemberGorgeous photos of a lovely happy looking dog!
RachelAMemberWe’ve discovered he knows some commands: ‘no'(!), ‘sit’ very well. He’s not phased by traffic or strangers coming to visit-very friendly with all.
The first evening he marked like crazy but hasn’t had any toileting incidents in the house since then. He’s a fast learner and seems quite intelligent.
Shall post new pics soon. First few don’t do him justice! He really is quite pretty!
RachelAMemberChrimbo pics!

IMG_0494.JPGRachelAMemberInky arrived last night, desperate to get out of the crate and explore. He has been super friendly, very playful with much tail-wagging! He loves the snow as you can see from the picture! I’ve taken him on a couple of walks (or wades!) through the snow and he’s been going outside in the garden every hour or so, he is certainly keen to get out there!
He’s a lovely liver and white colouring with very silky fur.
He barked at some cats in the garden but apart from that no barking. He likes to roll around on the carpet a lot! And he loves his belly being rubbed. He’ll make a great pet.
I’ll update again soon. Merry Chrimbo everyone!

IMG_0503.JPGRachelAMemberFernando’s been with us since Saturday and is doing well. He was very nervous: following us around the apartment and then hiding if we looked at him. Now he’s more confident and happily trots around on his own . He’s in his element snuggled up with one of us on the sofa.
He’s only had one accident toilet-wise. He likes very short walks, away from the traffic which he seems pretty scared of. He has cried each night, being left on his own in the kitchen. I’m sure this will get better once he knows and trusts that he’ll be loved and treated better than in his past.
A very sweet, very placid doggy!
RachelAMemberI’m so happy for you guys and this little man. He’s sure to have a long and happy sheep-chasing-filled life now.
Have you ‘accidentally’ lost the squeaky ball yet?!
RachelAMemberToto had a wonderful time at the Fun day
Thanks guys for organising the event and helping the doggies. I’m sure they all appreciated it and had a great time.
Toto is loving his new toy-highly squeaky Kong ball . Thanks Tricia! My husband hates it though ! He’s banished squeaky toy playing to the garden out of ear-shot! It’s great to see Toto having soooo much fun he loves it, especially when I squeak it loads. It’s difficult to get it off him TO squeak it though!

RachelAMemberToto is still up for adoption. He enjoyed meeting Tricia and family. Wasn’t so keen on the rival male terrier ! So he can not be rehomed with other male dogs (unless they clearly love each other at first sight ).
Thanks Tricia and co. I hope Toby has a long and happy doggy life with you guys.
Toto will be at the fun day today for any guys out there to meet.
Rachel.
RachelAMemberManaged to get a few outside, it’s quite difficult as most are blurred!
He gets soooo many strokes when he’s out, everyone comments on what a cute friendly dog he is. I got him in this photo when he was walking on the wall by the canal focused on the ducks!

IMG_0332.jpgRachelAMemberThanks Kathy and Linda for the B&B for Toto, he’ll love being around kids again, and it’ll be great for him to be around other dogs.
Now we get to enjoy the Electric Picnic
